How does that compare with a political party supporting and promoting telling other people’s kids that they can change their gender at school and the school and teachers and administrators will facilitate their parents not finding out?

Most of the trans stuff is being pushed by a vocal minority, a part of the progressive wing that only represents less than 10% of Democrats.

The Democrats problem is that they let this small but vocal minority drown out everything else they have to say, and while they are objectively better on policy on the majority of things that would benefit most Americans, they suck at messaging on it.

It is not a fringe of the party - the Biden administration rewrote Title IX to accommodate transgender ideology. And they are defending it in court.

I’m a vocal trans rights proponent and the sports stuff just isn’t the huge deal PPs are making it out to be. It’s minuscule. But the fact is that it’s masking true demonization of trans people in general. It’s a platform to express hatred for them masquerading as concern for women and girls sports. It’s so obvious because it’s just not any real concern. Look at the comments here. Equating trans rights to some douche high schooler dressing like a fox. GMAFB.

Not lies. My child’s kindergarten read the class the book “Being You: A first conversation about gender”

Look it up. It basically says the gender you are born doesn’t need to be the gender you decide to be. You can be a boy, girl, neither, or both, or change whenever you want. It also talks about patriarchy and how men have oppressed women all throughout history. Yes, this is absolutely being taught in schools to very young children with zero notification or input from parents. It’s rolled into curriculum about “acceptance”
