I'm no expert (unless podcasts and documentaries count), but that's what I'm thinking too. Unless they're playing a massive game with boyfriend Jack.

Me too. If i lived within 100 miles from there, I would be diligently locking my doors and turning security cameras on.

I think it could have been BF of one of the roommates that survived but that has not been mentioned publicly. So they both were home asleep and alone? Has that been confirmed? Or someone from the bar the girls were at earlier in the evening...maybe someone followed them home.

Someone had skinned and hung up an animal in the days prior. That’s some serial killer behavior.

I now think it is someone they know. They had a dog that was unharmed. That dog would be barking if a stranger was in. Also someone knew the dog and couldn’t bear to harm it.

Has it been confirm the dog was in the house? I got the impression it was found outside. Also read some reports that the dog was barking a lot at some point.

Not necessarily. My dog would be rolling on his back to get his tummy rubbed, my large dog is absolutely worthless as any sort of guard dog. He loves anyone, even strangers. So you have no way of knowing if this particular dog barks at strangers. None.

Also I thought I had read the dog was outside.

Police report said two roommates were in the house and a dog in the house unharmed. Neighbors heard nothing. This whole thing is crazy. Someone knows something.

Anonymous wrote:I would like to know how they ruled out the roommates and the ex bf Jack. They just believed that the roommates were asleep and so was Jack? Jack could have left his phone at his house while committing this crime. He could also have been the one who called his own phone using the girls phones. And leaving the the other 2 roommates unharmed maybe to make it look suspicious for the 2 surviving girls. So i want to know what evidence do they have to rule out these 3 obvious suspects??

I know we don't know all of the details, but this was a brutal murder with a knife against 4 people. Do you think a college aged female roommate could/would do that?
Like the pp's said, the public doesn't have all of the information. It's possible that obvious clues were at the scene that suggest a suspect other than the roommates and ex-bf.
