Likewise. I'm hearing from a number of people that returning to distance learning has been hard on the entire family. It has made it all feel more real. This positive news is helpful in the face of that. |
This. Remote learning has been a big unpleasant challenge. But to just focus on the positive... It might actually be good for children to learn how to adapt to new things in times of crisis. Who knows... |
I keep telling myself this year is a wash in the school department. Like Fauci said, it will probably be towards the end of 2021 before things return to what we're used to. I do think though next school year has a better chance at being good old fashioned in the school building kind of school. |
Will they disclose what their specific findings were? I know folks attributed the adverse event to something specific but nothing beyond that was disclosed. |
The end if 2021? That seems so... Far off... But then again, we got through 6 months already so I think we'll be alright. Time will pass faster than we think |
Here's a bit of good news!
NJ Gov Murphey has just removed 6 states from the travel advisory list from which travellers must self quarantine: California, Hawaii, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, and Ohio. This means there are only 30 states/territories left on the travel advisory list. |
Any good news today? |

A mask could filter pollen. However, some are just as likely to be afraid of going to the doctor. |
More likely bc people aren’t getting diagnosed bc they aren’t going to the doctor. |
My kids are loving the amount of sleep they are getting due to DL. They had a grueling school day before pandemic. It has really eased up now. |
This is a golden opportunity to learn new skills and improve your health. Don't waste it.
Also, remember that human nature is such that when we will return to normal, we all will complain about how wonderful and unhurried our lives became during the pandemic. I do not miss getting up early in the morning during the week to the jarring alarm clock I do not miss seeing my kids go to school when it was cold and dark in the winter I do not miss the rush hour traffic I do not miss how sleep deprived my entire family was I love having my family at home I love that we all are interacting more I love that I can hug them throughout the day I love that they all want to help me when I am doing chores. I love hearing my kids share more and more with me about their lives Life has become simplified We are wearing comfortable clothing and shoes We are still in touch with friends, coworkers, classmates, family via Zoom etc. I love not spending so much time and effort in grooming, make up and hair I love that the weekends is not one endless circuit of engagements and chores. I love working in my garden again. |
True. Haven't shaved in weeks. Even my chin hairs aren't noticeable under the mask I wear when I'm outside |
