Yep same here. I don't get paranoid about my breath either... (one of the perks of wearing a mask...) Saving good money on Tic Tacs and mouthwash, which is nice. |
It's also nice not to have to change my outfit/clothing every single day. Since I'm home 95% of the time I'm just in the same clothes. Im saving a handful of cash on dry cleaners and laundromat. Thanks for pointing out the "cup half full" aspect of this situation |
Saving a ton on not having to buy new clothes either. No need to look as “put together” as in the past. |
It's cooling down around NY! So excited to not have to shave my legs for a few winter months |
Haha! As fun as it is to discuss how we've all let our personal hygiene and grooming falter amidst the pandemic... I'd like to digress and share some good news from Iceland
https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2020-09-03/coronavirus-iceland-gives-us-some-good-covid-19 Some 91% of Icelanders who recovered from Covid produced detectable antibodies. That should dispel some of the gloom around reinfections. I'm not sure if this was posted here yet. Sorry in advance if this is a repost (I did not see it here but I may have missed it). |
Yay! That is good news. |

Almost 1/3 of virus deaths in July/August primarily caused by other factors.

And look, 9 in Phase 3 and 15 in Phase 2. Many of these could get to the finish line. We could reach a point next year where the question is not when will a vaccine be available...but what vaccine to take. |
I hope so, and I wonder if it will be regional. I know people want the Oxford one, but it will be offered to Commonwealth countries before the US. I assume we will be offered the one that's being produced in Gaithersburg. |
I have not seen this website, but decided to click on it today and found this awesome piece at the top. It's just one persons idea, but I am on board with it!
