Van Lifer couple camping in Utah national park - two weeks later fiancee arrives in FL alone

Anonymous
Lots of instability in both families in my opinion

The Laundries have a business selling machines used in the Juicing business- don’t know how successful it is actually. When Gabby was being questioned by the Utah cops she said she worked at a Juice bar , then she nervously did a hair flip and said , “ I’m a Nutritionist “ - A Nutritionist has a Bachelors Degree in Science so she appears to be confabulation

Sorry, the girl is Dead. However, I think the consistency in this entire story is unrealistic plans, over dependence on eachother ( both failed to launch ) and parents that set poor examples

Granted, the Laundrie parents have broken all standards of what is acceptable in our society in the manner that they disagreed Gabby , were heartless towards another set of parents and then enable their offspring to evade the consequences of his murderous actions but they seem like real white trash to me

And sorry but no one I know considers parking a tacky camper van in a parking lot 75 miles from your house qualifies as camping - that’s trailer living

As an aside, I think you might be thinking of the term "dietician," which is regulated by licensure and certification. "Nutritionist" is not a regulated term on its own in many US states, and anyone there can call themselves a "nutritionist" without any training.

Because he lived with them and neither of them had jobs. Though honestly his parents owned three other homes including a condo. They could have let them rent it from them at a discounted rate but apparently elected not to.

Why not with her parents? (It’s not relevant I’m just curious)

Because they moved. They used to live in NY where they met (went to HS together), moved to FL where his parents are.

Ok but that doesn’t really answer the question. Why did Brian and Gabby move with his parents instead of staying in NY with Gabbys family and where they’d grown up? Doesn’t seem like they had much going for them in FL.

Why would anyone choose to live in NY when they could live in Sarasota?

You’re kidding, right?

+1. I’m from Florida. Someone is confusing life in Florida with a Spring Break week on the beach. NY wins hands down.

This could be a never ending debate but Sarasota is lovely. It’s clean with a beach, nice shopping and a small artist community.

But they were young, and young people don’t always make brightest decisions. And to one of the PP‘s, who said I didn’t look like they have anything going for them in Florida, well quite honestly didn’t like look like they had much going for them in general. It’s not like they gave up careers or education in New York.
You’re kidding, right?

As a fully functioning adult with a good job and want good schools for my kids, New York would be the option. However if I was in my very early 20s, Florida would win hands down. There’s the sun, the beach, no winters, you name it. My young early 20s self would have chosen to live with my boyfriend and his family in Florida over gloomy New York if The choice was offered. Remember, these people are 23. DeSantis and his horrific governing is not likely on their radar or a top priority

When it’s not to hide evidence or cover up an escape plan is just absurd

I honestly know middle class families where this is a "thing". One or two nights. Not entirely implausible.

It's actually a gorgeous campground that books up a year in advance, so I don't know how the Laundries just popped in for a night.

You have a membership. You can go whenever you want. Most people keep their trailer or RV parked there most of the year. The places also have pools etc.

Except the Laundries had their camper parked in their driveway. We’ve seen the pictures, and that’s how the neighbors knew they went camping.

I read just now that someone (cannot remember who) temporarily stepped down from the Moab Police Department due to the negative publicity from the released police body cam footage.

I have watched that 1HR+ footage twice & the cops who handled the Brian/Gabby situation on 8/12 in Utah never paid attention to the witness account of someone witnessing Brian as the true aggressor.
Now that it has been revealed that the cops on the scene DID in fact know that there was a witness account of someone actually seeing Brian strike Gabby this is utterly outrageous to me.

Just because Brian had marks on his face, he was labeled the victim.
Those officers while friendly (except Officer Pratt IMO) were kind to both Brian + Gabby, their police work was so shoddy.

Sadly it took Gabby’s death for the truth to have come out that the authorities did a horrible job.
🙁

Do we know that the police received the information from both 911 calls? I hadn’t seen that.

You people are nuts. The level of hysterics surrounding this case is over the top.

Yeah, the girl died, and hopefully, her killer will answer for it.

But calling the parents “evil,” conjecturing that they grow weed based on thin air or because they look creepy, saying that Dog will be more famous than Jesus, saying the parents calling 911 on someone trespassing is wrong, the other girl posting that “she was in tears and shaking” because she realized her parents were BL neighbors in the campground, thinking it is heartwarming that Gabi’s parents all got the same tattoo as she, and so on.....

NUTS!

This is too boring for all of you with big imaginations, but I safely assume the boy is long dead. He's dumb as a brick, lazy, and broke — not some criminal mastermind with ties to the Russian mob.

They really should be tried for murder. Both of them!

There are one or two nutso posters, pretty easily identified by the characteristics of their writing.
