Van Lifer couple camping in Utah national park - two weeks later fiancee arrives in FL alone

If Dog really did find out about the campground lead before the FBI, then I am just speechless. It seems like it must be true though, else wouldn’t the FBI have been searching at that location earlier instead of just concentrating on the wetlands park?

FBI took over the lead on the case. I believe the switch happened the same day Dog started his hunt.

They is incorrect. The FBI has been leading this case since the beginning. Please stop spreading false information.

Because he lived with them and neither of them had jobs. Though honestly his parents owned three other homes including a condo. They could have let them rent it from them at a discounted rate but apparently elected not to.

Why not with her parents? (It’s not relevant I’m just curious)

I’m curious about this too. I think I read somewhere she was the oldest in her family so maybe her parents didn’t want the younger kids exposed to a live in boyfriend? Really though I have no clue.

Because they moved. They used to live in NY where they met (went to HS together), moved to FL where his parents are.

Ok but that doesn’t really answer the question. Why did Brian and Gabby move with his parents instead of staying in NY with Gabbys family and where they’d grown up? Doesn’t seem like they had much going for them in FL.

Long Island is expensive.

And despite the vitriol on this board, Florida has lovely weather 8-9 months of the year. And a more laid back lifestyle.

To the camping pp, I believe they stayed 2 nights on each of the 2 trips.

Because her parents didn't approve of her live-in boyfriend turned fiancee. The father/stepmother openly said he didn't like him in a video interview. I gather the mother/stepfather had the same issues with him.

Either way - they probably said 'You (Gabby) can live with either one of us but the man/boy has got to go'. And she left and she died. So.

When it’s not to hide evidence or cover up an escape plan is just absurd

I honestly know middle class families where this is a "thing". One or two nights. Not entirely implausible.

It's actually a gorgeous campground that books up a year in advance, so I don't know how the Laundries just popped in for a night.

Lots of instability in both families in my opinion

The Laundries have a business selling machines used in the Juicing business- don’t know how successful it is actually. When Gabby was being questioned by the Utah cops she said she worked at a Juice bar , then she nervously did a hair flip and said , “ I’m a Nutritionist “ - A Nutritionist has a Bachelors Degree in Science so she appears to be confabulation

Sorry, the girl is Dead. However, I think the consistency in this entire story is unrealistic plans, over dependence on eachother ( both failed to launch ) and parents that set poor examples

Granted, the Laundrie parents have broken all standards of what is acceptable in our society in the manner that they disagreed Gabby , were heartless towards another set of parents and then enable their offspring to evade the consequences of his murderous actions but they seem like real white trash to me

And sorry but no one I know considers parking a tacky camper van in a parking lot 75 miles from your house qualifies as camping - that’s trailer living

They were only 23! Like Gabby would have gone on to get a better BF and Brian would have gone on to abuse another one.

Why would anyone choose to live in NY when they could live in Sarasota?

Are the Laundries landlords currently? Or is my memory wrong. Maybe they are juicing in their retirement

A YouTuber reviewed the Teton camp vlogger footage and thought they could see someone digging in the field. It definitely looked like someone doing something in there. But was it same reel where a person closed the back door to the van? that would indicate 2 live people there. And if Gabby was alive, did Brian premeditated and dig a grave 1st.
