| Hawks are significantly better. No one laid an egg. They got beat by a better team. |
| Hawks and dogs are both really good with lots of talent, probably number 2 and 3 in the country behind team 91. But don’t think that people didn’t notice the hawks pulled in one of the best kids from Long Island to play with them and that 2/3 dogs attack were injured. |

My kid was born summer of 03. Hes off to college in a little over a month, not getting ready to head into his junior year.
This is all club lacrosse's fault by going with grad year teams. Soccer fixed it. Probably from the heavy influence of international circuit. Some people just enjoy taking advantage of loopholes and some people don't. Personally if my kid was dominating kids a year in a half younger than him, I would feel uneasy about the situation and have a hard time watching. |
Hard to rank teams at this age. 91 Long Island lost to Brotherly Love at Crab Feast less than a week ago |
Bullis split the series with Landon this spring and this was supposed to be Bullis year. Pre-season top 5 in the country in both IL and US lacrosse rankings. SJC should be the favorite in the entire DMV region next Spring but something tells me Ty Xanders who is very Baltimore biased won’t allow it to happen. They should be able to run through the WCAC. Prep and Landon will be “more even”next Spring (GP graduated a ton of impact starters last Spring, while Landon returns several starters). I expect these two programs to really battle it out in the IAC. Lastly, not sure why folks are predicting Gonzaga to fade away. I wouldn’t sleep on the Purple Eagles, they always have depth and athletes. PVI has proved time and time again, they lack the experience to win the “big” games. My top 5 for next Spring 1. SJC 2. Prep 3. Landon 4. Gonzaga 5. Bullis Side not I’m not putting too much emphasis into NHSLS results from last week. Running clock…. Two 20 minute half’s… Federation rules… some coaching staffs focus more on rotating guys in to get some reps and looks for next spring while other coaching staffs objective is to win. |
| No way Gonzaga is top 5. Sorry you are really reaching |
|
Hard to put PVI over Gonzaga when you look at history over the past 5 years.
Gonzaga had a down year this past Spring. I wouldnt write them off just yet due to one poor season during a covid year. PVI is certainly on the rise and has plenty of talent but they need to win a “big” regulation game. Losing to Episcopal in the VISSA finals sums it up pretty well. |
PVI could not handle zone defense this year - see losses to Episcopal and Landon - I'd expect new staff to improve on that. |
|
If PVI doesn’t have their goalie, they lose by a few more to Landon and probably even Episcopal.
I do agree, a new coaching staff has a ton of talent to work with. The future is bright at PVI. Regarding Gonzaga, the sun is starting to fade for their program. They are getting boxed in now by SJC, DeMatha and GP. |
Clubs aren’t doing anything. The families are making the decision to re-class. |
This is such an odd post. It was your family's decision to holdback your son, not "club lacrosse." |
|
03's aren't hold backs, they should be going to college this fall.
Player in point (who is a 03) is going into his Junior year and playing with 23's. I think he's saying club lacrosse allows this by going with grad year. Soccer goes with birth year. Which does seem correct to me. Are soccer recruiters smarter than Lacrosse? Since they are able to watch a kid play with kids his own age and then figure out what year they should graduate. Of course not, its easily done. |
| A lot of coaches still out looking at 2022s. Wondering if some flips are coming. |
Which schools in particular? |
| Syracuse new staff offering a ton of 2022s. Very disappointed with Desko’s commits. |
