Unfortunately the PK waitlist barely moves at Brent. Maybe 0-5 spots. We were #1 a couple years ago and did not get in (PK3).

Got into Shining Stars PK3, and we have waitlists in the 30s for pretty much all the Spanish bilinguals except Mundo Verde (#70). It looks like based off of last year’s data, there’s a chance of us getting into Stokes - Brookland?

Woke up through the night checking only to be frustrated and disappointed this morning. Too bad.

We got into Yu Ying for PK4. I'm new to this. Is that a good spot?

how do you know you got a terrible lottery #?

We're deep (well into the triple digits) on the waiting list at every halfway decent school we put down.

Theres no public pk3 in the burbs

Not everyone is playing the lottery for pk3, the poster could be looking for middle or high school.

But

Last year Stokes went to 9 by October. So maybe -- the new campus adds a little uncertainty (will families that have younger siblings who would go to PK3 next year transfer to East End).

You’ll get in. 100% chance.

We are #1 waitlist for preK-4 at Janney. Will we get in?

We matched at Stokes EE for French. Our top choice is Yu Ying and we are number 28 on the waitlist. Is it worth waiting to see if we gain any traction at Yu Ying?
