Anyone know how far Tyler Elementary Spanish Immersion or Appletree Lincoln Park went on the waitlist for PK3?

Got a terrible lottery number. I guess this means my family will be moving out of the DC area. Don't want to live in the suburbs, don't want to put our kid in the kind of school we just got.

Last year they went to 7 by August, 9 by October.

For 2016-17 they went to 16 by August.

Thank you!

We're deep (well into the triple digits) on the waiting list at every halfway decent school we put down.

My kid was waitlisted #1 at Lafayette - are there years when no one is taken off waitlist?

My lottery results for fifth grade reflect the sad state of schools in the District—that there would be this many people willing or trying their luck to move their kid for just one year to get into a Deal or Hardy feeder or top performing public (Ross) is just a testament to how much things suck. Fortunately we knew this and already enrolled DC in a parochial, but this is a sad state of affairs.
