| FYI, the rape stats are a joke, people. |
Spoken from a position of white privilege. Hardly the case for women In some other countries. |
Are you saying that expecting respectful interactions between strangers is not a reasonable standard, that American and German women should expect sexual assault on public streets? |
White, black, latina, asian and mixed privilege actually. The standard and norm of a civilized society. All women of all colors should not have to deal with barbaric behavior as shownby those men that night. |
My women friends of color ain't going back either, Honey. Are you? |
You must be kidding about India - there were so many cases that gathered worldwide attention, the gang rapes, the bus rapes. Shocking, brutal cases. It is not safe to be a woman traveling on her own in India. On the other hand, in many Middle Eastern countries being assaulted in public was really something out of the ordinary (at least before the Arab Spring). The whole scenario in Cologne is out of the ordinary - what was it with all these presumed majority Muslim men getting highly intoxicated on alcohol? Reading the German reports of the train station staff, the station was full of vomit, witnesses also confirmed; vomit everywhere, cleaning crews could not keep up. Were all these men part of a flash mob - and forsaking their "no alcohol vows", and being brutal animals, or were they all part of that North African gang of criminals and drug dealers, in a planned operation, as some police officers said? Or both? |
I lived in India many decades ago and have been shocked by the rash of violent rapes. Maybe a lot happened behind closed doors when I was there. Kisses were censored in movies and men and women did not hold hands in public (men and men did). My theory is this is what happens to a society in transition. With exposure to western media on the internet people who have not had the exposure to a lot of western law and discussion of equality just see a lot of images of sex, still living in an otherwise traditional framework. I dont excuse these rapes - I think they are part of the transition from antique to modern, a society unmoored.likewise when you drop all these refugees in anything goes Europe - it appears Anything goes' without understanding the elaborate checks and balances western society has developed around ideas of personal freedom. This is going to be a problem for a while. See reportage of asylum friendly Sweden becoming known as the 'rape capital' of Europe. |
It's so sad that this is what Sweden and Germany get for trying to help the Muslims. How will Europe preserve its culture? |

So, the thread that was locked simply used the wrong term. It wasn't mass rape; rather, it was mass sexual assault and robbery.
The numbers continue to climb...in other cities such as Hamburg, too. And the consensus is that the men who attacked women appeared to be Arab or North African. Note: just because they've only arrested a few men doesn't mean that dozens upon dozens more weren't involved; all the articles point to a large scale and coordinated effort with many, many victims. And here's what you need to keep in mind: we only know about the victims who bothered to report. The majority of women wouldn't actually report...especially if they were actually raped. (Everyone should understand by now the data on under reporting.) There was a piece on BBC last night that was so ridiculously absurd. It said multiple times throughout the article something along the lines of, "just because all the victims are reporting that the attackers appeared Arab or North African doesn't mean this has anything to do with the migrant issue." The fact that they went out of their way to repeat it so many times (using various different phrases) was bizarre. What's their motivation? Mass sexual assault and theft is shocking and just awful. I'm sure someone will come on here and say, "but it wasn't rape." That just means there was no penetration. Shirts could have been ripped off or pushed up. Groping definitely happened (per reports). Being grabbed by multiple men at a time like this could honestly lead to PTSD. This IS serious. |
You are exactly right. Good for Denmark and Poland for saying NO to the Muslim invasion. Perhaps others will now follow their lead. It's their only hope. Not sure about deportation at this point. How do they do that? No one wants to have their women assaulted for being in public unaccompanied. |
| The problem that keeps coming up is that the men involved were reportedly drunk. That goes counter to the notion that they were Muslim as alcohol is forbidden to Muslims. |
| Baby boomers have been telling young women to f---- off for decades. This whole immigration concept including overlooking our illegal immigration here is another example of the selfishness of baby boomers. The older generation didn't really mentor younger women to balance having children with being educated and having a career. So now you have a much smaller population of younger people who can't support the older generation. Immigration to these old people is the answer to their concerns. They don't care if younger educated women had any kind of work life balance to have larger families, as long as they had cheap labor in the former of immigrants. |
Their motivation is obvious. There are large numbers of Arab and North African men in Germany and Europe and they're not going anywhere, just like the large numbers of illegal immigrants we have in this country. The leaders want them to integrate rather than remain isolated and a problem. They do not want the citizens to turn on them, reject or attack them. |
Why can't they go anywhere? Deport them or stop them from receiving benefits. And, the leaders may "want them to integrate," but history shows that they won't. Unlike the immigrants to the US, their values are simply too inconsistent with Western culture. And, if leaders did not "want their citiziens to reject or attsck" them, then they should stop standing by while these people commit violent acts or otherwise destroy their host countries. |
