I haven't heard from my boyfriend since Friday night

You do realize that poaching is a FELONY - and yet your biggest concern is that he hasn't called when he said he would?

OP, why don't you CALL these people instead of Facebook messaging them? Plenty of people don't use that feature - I know I don't.

Although we've asked a direct question - do you know his parents' names and where they live?

If he's not dead, I'd break up with him after this. What a piece of crap.

(or mauled by a bobcat)

Bobcats don't maul humans. Don't spread fear.

You are absolutely right. Mea culpa.

I think her biggest concern was actually that something had happened to her boyfriend other than getting arrested. If my husband said he would call at a particular time and then didn't call for days after, I would be calling all the hospitals.

They've been together 6 months and live 4 hours away from one another? Please that's got side chick written all over it.

OP has explained she didn't know that this wasn't bobcat hunting season. I can buy that--I certainly don't know anything about hunting seasons.

Now she knows. While she can still be worried about him and hope he's not injured, I would also hope she seriously reconsiders dating someone who knowingly breaks the law.

I have figured this all out. OPs boyfriend is clearly in the Mafia. His "animal hauling" business as well as "hunting" something illegal in Maine involve his mob hits. His bosses clearly found an old informant who was in witness protection up in Maine. OPs boyfriend went up there to take care of him and sh!t went bad. My guess is the informant was packing heat and got the jump on OPs boyfriend. Being an ex-mobster himself, witness protection guy dismembered OP's boyfriend's body and dumped him in various remote locations all over Maine. Then he threw his cell phone in the ocean. It all makes so much sense now!

I would ABSOLUTELY get into a car and drive 4 hours to see if anything was truly wrong. Maybe he made it back and had a heart attack in his home?

Op, even if he's been arrested he gets to make some limited phone calls from the jail. I can see why he might choose to call a bondsman or a parent or some other family memeber instead of you but he should have arranged for someone to call you.

Maybe he is in the woods and simply can't charge his cell phone right now/does not have cell coverage and he has turned it off to preserve what charge is left.

Really? I get straight to voicemail all the time because my husband flies for a living. Yes, a lot of us do get that. In her case, it's most likely because his phone is dead.

Your husband lives with you and heaven forbid something happen you know his family and friends. The OP doesn't know anything about this guy, no family, no friends, and probably doesn't even know where he lives she's a side chick.

She knows his uncle and two friends. The two friends she knows aren't on FB. She is linked to his FB account as his girlfriend. People hollering about side chicks but didn't bother to read the posts.

You are really in the minority, a lot of people use private messenger on FB.

Is it trolling season? Because there sure are a lot of dramatic posts these days.

I lived four hours away from my boyfriend until three days after we got married and I moved in with him. I'm not the side chick.
