I haven't heard from my boyfriend since Friday night

Hunting Bobcats?! What the hell for? I hate hunters who don't hunt out of necessity or to help thin the herds of overpopulated animals (deer, etc.). I can't say that I would mind learning that he was either arrested or mulled. Bye, OP.

Face it OP you're a side chick - you don't get to meet friends and family you don't get any info about where he works or where he's going. You get lies, lays and that's about it.

I think we all know now why she hasn't contacted the police. OP, just lie and say he was hiking.

Surely you know his parents names and could google to get their phone number.
Surely you know his uncle's name or another relative and could google to get their phone number.
Surely you could somehow figure out his employer (I guess it's not on fb and he's not on linkedin?) - does any one of his friends know where he works?
You could just call the Maine state police.
Have you done any of these things?

OP here: I keep posting updates but here we go again.

I am waiting for my cop friend to call me so I can see what he suggests and if there is something he can do as a cop as far as reaching out to the Maine police and get more answers then I could.

I already FB messaged the uncle and he hasn't even read the message so I don't see a point in blowing up his inbox to have them not be read.

I'm going to call the Maine state police and see what they suggest.

I'm also going to try and reach out to some of his other relatives on fb. I don't know them but maybe will get some
Sort of answers or suggestions from them.

Idk what else to do at the moment but I am extremely overwhelmed and am trying to take this one step at a time.

OP, Maine posts the arrest records in the paper (I'm from Maine and they did this in my local paper). You might try googling your bf's name and maine arrest records from the weekend.

Only women who get the "straight to voicemail" are side chicks. Wives and girlfriends don't get that.

Really? I get straight to voicemail all the time because my husband flies for a living. Yes, a lot of us do get that. In her case, it's most likely because his phone is dead.

Your best bet is to call the National Park Service division - someone up-thread has posted contact info. Ask if anyone has been arrested.

Is this Nevada Barr trying out new plot lines?

But OP, why are you only fb messaging these relatives? Have you tried looking up a phone number to actually call them? I realize you've said you don't know them well or at all, but if this is honestly your bf and he is missing and you're worried, I don't understand why you wouldn't want to try to find a phone number, call one of them, and say, hey, I'm X's gf and he's missing and I'm concerned, have you heard from him or know who might be able to get in touch with him?

Put his name into pipl.com and see what comes up, you may find out something you didn't realize about him that is damaging.

Bobcats don't maul humans. Don't spread fear.

Your husband lives with you and heaven forbid something happen you know his family and friends. The OP doesn't know anything about this guy, no family, no friends, and probably doesn't even know where he lives she's a side chick.
