Biden took a host of actions on Day 1 to increase illegal immigration. That "border bill" would have rewarded illegals with a legal status and was in no way a solution. They present no limiting principle and punish no one for violating this nation's laws and sovereignty.

The really sad part is the media cannot help but lie at every opportunity, so it also will not tell the truth about the consequences of illegal immigration.

I disagree. Dems do not want open borders and unlimited illegal immigration. No Dem I know does. But the problem was that they were ineffective and incoherent on their messaging on it, ineffective on legislation, and completely got drowned out, outmaneuvered and sabotaged by Republicans at every turn.

As for inflation, getting rid of every last illegal would barely make a dent in it and it's going to get a whole lot worse if Trump follows through with his blanket tariffs.

Democrats are in a tough spot because if they do or say one thing wrong they could lose a voter for life... So they are constantly playing the defense trying to politically correctly speak their way out of any difficult situation into appeal to every small Fringe group that there is.... Because I really do think they want freedom and Justice for all but that comes at the expense of winning.
Really think they need to identify some boulder blocks. They can shore up and focus on those and not constantly get pulled in the weeds on all of these other issues, but that gets messy as well because in this election Muslims overwhelmingly voted for Trump. Why would you support clean energy but allow China to make the solar panels and trade here for free? The pollution from China hits California in 10 days time.

Dems don’t need to look at Republican issues to figure out where they went wrong. They need to figure out why so many prior Biden supporters didn’t vote at all.

For the PP mentioning Wisconsin, I don’t think it was split tickets. I think they voted for Baldwin and not Harris. That’s a huge issue and I agree with another PP that inflation, though not Biden’s fault, was a huge factor.

But Trump supporters need to stop gloating and think this election signaled support for his non-existent policies. It signaled that the Dems need to focus on issues that impact the 15M people who voted for Biden, but didn’t vote for Trump or Harris.
