Removal of Eaton Principal Steven Eskay

If you read the documented language he used and you still feel this way, then you are not the kind of family we want at the school. But my bet with this comment is that you’re a friend of his or something.

He must be so humiliated. He needs to leave. Imagine your entire staff signing a letter against you. LEAVE!

It’s evident that most of them signed that letter as a smear campaign. Steven is a really great guy and is the best fit for John Eaton. The language in that letter was clearly Steven joking around. People who can’t see that he was joking need to get a sense of humor. We need more school leaders like Steven who aren’t afraid to be themselves and lead with a sense of humor.

Wow, wow, so you think making fun of a child who has autism is having a good sense of humor? Or violate the privacy of children and their family is also a joke?
What's wrong with you?

Principal Eskay should stay as long as he didn’t physically assault or sexually abuse a child.

Eaton family here and we also think the call to remove Mr Eskay is hysterical and ill-thought. I do think that the instances cited by the teachers need to be addressed and verified, but they are not sufficient for removing him.

In our experience he has been a good addition to Eaton and we hope this whole situation can be resolved sensibly and the school can move forward for the sake of the kids and the community.

Children learn from adults.
If children see adults making fun of children eventually the children will start doing the same.
We are the ones who have to set an example.
I find your opinion very caveman!

There is a thing called psychological abuse.
Abuse is not only sexual, there are many forms of abuse, I don't know if you know.

I don’t think any of this is particularly bad. There certainly isn’t anything here that warrants Mr. Eskay being fired. Let’s be honest here, many of the children with behavior issues can be a**holes.

this is your bar? As long as there's not physical assault or sexual abuse?

Wow.

Let's reach for the stars.

Someone clearly had way too much time of their hands to record all of those “incidents”. Those teachers should have been teaching instead of trying to find a sound bite to catch Mr. Eskay. It’s really sad that people will go to such lengths and make up lies about a stellar principal like Mr. Eskay.

The posters here are that are dismissing this behavior are whacked. There is no planet on which this is okay and unworthy of firing.

The forum moderator should delete this thread. This isn’t the place for people who aren’t privy to all of the facts to be discussing a personnel matter. This has absolutely no impact on the students at the school and should no longer be discussed. Please delete this thread.

And keep on dancing, keep on dancing...
Are we going to let people with this type of behavior continue educating our children?
