Seeing that Biden has created a disaster at the southern border - and considering that the northern border is now becoming a crisis - I think we will see that the Republicans will indeed craft a bill that will force Biden to take border control seriously. You can bet that it will NOT include amnesty or a path to citizenship.

Question is.... will Democrats vote for it? Will Schumer even allow a vote in the Senate?

Dorsn’t that just show how impossible drug interdiction is to begin with? If 2 lbs leads to half a million doses and just one random stop yielded hundreds of pounds of fentanyl then it doesn’t matter how much you stop there will always be plenty that gets through. The drug war has been lost and we need to change strategy from interdiction to harm mitigation.

The reason fentanyl and other drug interdictions have gone up exponentially is because the cartels are taking full advantage of Biden's soft-on-border-enforcement policies.
They make sure to send millions - yes, millions - of migrants across the border - illegally - which pulls border patrol agents from patrolling the border and working at ports of entry in order to process, transport, and care for the millions entering illegally. They have also pulled agents from our northern border. And, who wouldn't have guessed that the northern border is now becoming a crisis.

When border agents are not able to do the jobs they were hired to do - patrol our borders - then they are not there to prevent got-aways from getting away. And, these are the people carrying the illegal drugs and other contraband.

Watch one of the hearings the Republicans are having. You will learn a lot from the testimony of border agents and chiefs.
