Agree with the PPs. It is still early in the process and only a small percentage of players have committed at this point. Your DD will probably hear from schools during or following the Fall season, but she needs to have a plan to communicate with her schools of interest. I think it’s also important to speak with her coach and understand his/her plan to help showcase players during the Fall season. Your DD will probably hear from schools she never expressed interest in, so have a plan for how she will professionally respond to these coaches. If there is mutual interest great, but if not make sure she communicates this to the coaches, thanking them for their interest. You never know where a coach may end up and it’s a small community. Again it is still early. Players will be committing into next summer. Do the work upfront and perform on the field and things will work out.

I’m seeing schools post their commits to their instagram stories?
They are reposting the girls announcements, not announcing them themselves.
I dont think that I saw that last year?
I thought the schools weren’t really allowed to post or tag commits. Maybe it’s the NLI?

Division 1 schools cannot comment on a specific athlete until they have signed their NLI.

They can make vague comments. You will see some twitter posts like "Ding Dong, Ring The Bell, Some great news from Long Island ready to make some noise"

As the PP said, they are literally re-posting a pic of the girls announcement. With her name/IG handle... This is the first time I've seen it as well...

I just saw that M&D black had an attacker commit to UVA. Is anyone keeping track of commitments by club? Cap vs M&D vs. Pride etc?

M&D Black is leading the "local" charge it appears with 13 commits so far. Hero's Green has about 8. M&D wins the battle there for top schools for sure. SW I've only seen two, but sure there are more (they don't actively post to social media like M&D and Hero's). I've only seen 1 Pride and a couple Cap but assume there are more for the same reason as SW...

SW has more than 2. At least 1 NW, 1 Cuse, 2 UMD, 1 Stanford. Just saw a new Cap Blue to Vandy. CavLax is doing well too with USC, Stanford, and VT commits.

IL women on instagram reposts a lot of them in their stories.

Since you're throwing SW into the thread, I'll add another "local" club with NEMS 24 having 5 commits so far. 1 Maryland, 1 Navy, and 3 USF

That doesn't bode well for the argument in here that Maryland players will be moving from top clubs to Capital for recruiting.
