Capital 24 Blue beat M&D Black yesterday. |
Go Capital! You posters who bad mouth the club are pathetic. It’s a great club and the only club from the DC area recognized everywhere else in the country. |
| M&D was down like 4-5 girls due to field hockey and soccer finals, also their top commits didn't play at all ...... not trying to take away from the win but celebrating... idk doesn't seem like a milestone moment. |
Beating M&D Black is always something to be noted, but it seems like Sunday was a little rougher for the CLC 24's as they went 0-2-1. |
| And Capital was missing players for WCAC and ISL field hockey and soccer finals |
Ah I see ... we should excuse Saturday's M&D loss for these reasons but dismiss Capital's no starters / equal-time model as the reason M&D historically gains the upper hand when fully stacked. FWIW Cap 24s were in the same boat Saturday. |
| Two more Capital 24 Blue commits. ND and Umass. The entire team is committed. |
| Not just committed, but all D1 committed. |
UMass is interesting. Might be a first for Capital. The ND commitment is NBD. Every kid (a big family too) in that family has committed to play at ND, pretty much a guarantee. |
I am pretty sure there are a few more girls who have not committed. Strong team for sure. Hard work does not stop, players still need to finish strong in HS and put in the work to actually get on the collegiate field. Lots of competition ahead. |
I was surprised it took her this long to commit to ND tbh. Probably doing her due diligence but still, 4th of 4 sisters at ND and will probably end up being the best of the bunch like many younger siblings do. |
Is she though? I don’t think she’s the best player out of the girls. |

Once you hit sophomore year, no one cares about who wins games.
|
| agreed with PP. No one gives to craps about which club beat who. Not sure how many times it has to be stated that college coaches don't care about the score, just want to see a competitive match. All these glax parents are nuts, feuding over who beats who. We all know who the competitive teams are that carry weight and bring out the college coaches to watch their games. Stating that my team beat your team by 3-5 goals makes you sound stupid and amateurish when it comes to the club scene. But go ahead and keep bragging if it makes you feel any better. |
so college coaches don’t care if the club team is good or highly ranked? |
