I don't think you watched SR play this year either. They have a '26 commit to Princeton who missed all of this season with an injury. Her sister plays at BC. You seem to have your facts wrong.

She’s quite good but not UNC or UVA recruit good. Those two were arguably the best player or #2 on their team as sophomores. My facts are opinions, that’s why I said it was my hot takes.

Agree that GC plays fierce. Not sure which ISL teams they play in the preseason, but if any DC-area team wants to knock them off, they will have to match or one-up their intensity. Fearlessly drawing out the fouls and cards from that staunch, but overly physical defense, is how I would coach it. Interesting take on Potomac. They have some good talent returning; depth will be the question as usual.

SSSAS needs to sustain it over the full season. That '26 class is really good. SJC returns full starting lineup, which should help them develop. Holton played some decent games; not sure who the impact players are there, but coaching seems strong. SR has some talented '28s that should get a more prominent role, but a change in style is coming for sure. Can't step back and watch UNC-bound star go.

If you don't think SR has another big dawg or dawgs you didn't watch them this year. They have a '26 BC commit that was out all season as well as several other DI '26's and will have several top tier DI commits in the '27 class including one that will be highly sought after and carry on that big dawg torch. The UNC commit will be missed but goalie will be the hardest spot to backfill. The '28 class is solid and will have an expanded roll - a deep program.

Potomac had a great '25 class and a special midfield. That group will be missed and difficult to replace. They will be good and are well coached but not as good as last year.

Saints will have a strong senior class on paper but they don't play games on paper.

SJC improved over the season but still isn't in the top tier yet as they are lacking a few big time players to drive the scoring.

Holton isn't worth talking about unless the Humphrey sisters all enrolled overnight.

As for GC it would've been great to see them play the top team in the ISL at the end of the year as they lived off of last years rep in the rankings IMO. They took a step back this year and will next year too. The WCAC didn't offer much resistance.

27’s at SR are not strong. A good athlete or two but not skilled. Agree with everything else.

This statement could not be more wrong. SR had 5 '27s who either started or played key roles on the ISL Championship team. 2 were standout defenders and the other 3 were among the top scorers on the team. One of the '27s who scored prolifically on attack also completely dominated on the draw in the ISL Semi-Final and Championship games. The future is bright at SR with strong 26, 27 and 28 classes.

Not a SR parent but the 27 committed list will probably be longer than the 25 & 26s.

They have 4 D1 level 27s, 1 M&D and 3 Capital. Pretty sure they have a few on the bubble from Skywalkers and Capital in that 27 group as well.
