Bringing in a new midfielder is about all that’s going to change. End result will be the same. |
They lost to the SR team that most picked to win ISL before the season started and got handled by the eventual VA champ that had a once in 30 years 25 class. SSSAS should have more commits this coming season then they had last so they are getting even deeper. My money is on Stone Ridge pulling it out in the ISL and SSSAS against STAB for VA GC in the WCAC by a distance, SJC gets better in 2nd, PVI should get a baller 27 back so easy 3rd pushing 2nd. BI will struggle to get 4th. Visi in the DCSA, ND Commit will want to win something on the way out and she is good enough to beat any time one her own. |
SSSA will be playing nearly exactly the same team it has played for three years. New commits won’t change anything. |
Agreed, new commit or commits will be playing on JV for the year. |
The SSSAS 27 class will be stronger than the 25 class that they are losing. and they are the only team in the ISL top 4 at least that can say that.
SR has the strongest 27 class but they aren't as strong as the 25 class they are losing, damn close though. |
Only one 27 gets any real playing time and has an impact. Won’t change next year. |
WT ACUAL F Is wrong with you?!?!? You need to step outside and touch grass, families make decisions for their families. This is high school lacrosse there is more to it than sports. Your rock dumb ass would never have the balls to say this face to face. |
A 2027 sometimes starter for Potomac scored the tying goal to send them to overtime vs STAB - thats impact. |
So she picked Saints as a junior over other schools that are closer to her and better academically for a family reason? Maybe your response was a touch melodramatic? |
We have here a fine example of how it’s going to go next year. |
She’s going to love it. No other 27s except the two transfers will touch the field next year for SSSA. |
I'm sure she will, it's a great place. Was more commenting on the roid-rage over response from earlier. |
I like this post. Informed and provocative. Agree that GC plays fierce. Not sure which ISL teams they play in the preseason, but if any DC-area team wants to knock them off, they will have to match or one-up their intensity. Fearlessly drawing out the fouls and cards from that staunch, but overly physical defense, is how I would coach it. Interesting take on Potomac. They have some good talent returning; depth will be the question as usual. SSSAS needs to sustain it over the full season. That '26 class is really good. SJC returns full starting lineup, which should help them develop. Holton played some decent games; not sure who the impact players are there, but coaching seems strong. SR has some talented '28s that should get a more prominent role, but a change in style is coming for sure. Can't step back and watch UNC-bound star go. |
The response or calling a high schooler rock dumb? |
She would have never seen the field at SSSAS - I'm sure she is thrilled to be at Potomac |
