As an earlier poster said it’s the equivalent of winning a non-descript non-January 1st bowl game..

3/31. Visi over SJC 13-6. Regular season game

5/18. SJC over Visi 14-10. Championship game

Enough said

Let’s move on. Who wants to write the way-too-early preview for next season?

I’d say GC loses. It has the worst college list - not a top academic or lax school among them. Really poor.

The story in the WCAC will be can SJC knock off GC. It should be close. PVI will likely be third and BI likely fourth.

The ISL should be more interesting with the same 4 as this year battling it out. Saints will have a strong senior class and will be the preseason favorite.

Points for being succinct and clear. I tend to agree.

ISL will be interesting for sure.

Tier I:
Saints and SR

Tier II:
Potomac and Visi

Tier III:
Can Holy Child or Holton make the leap and potentially knock off a Potomac or a Visi who lost very talented senior classes?

Can’t speak to Holy Child but Holton isn’t on the same planet as these teams.

Yup. Denver is terrible at lax

It's crazy that a team full of kids not going to any top lax schools hasn't lost to any other DMV team in a few years despite all of those other DMV schools being filled with girls going to top lax schools. Must all be MH coaching then.

This is hard to disagree with. PVI losing Florida commit is huge but the rest of the team will be more experienced and RH can coach and recruits decently. BI will be a mess with all of the 25s they lose and only move closer to being #5 than #4. SJC will be more ready but GC hasn't lost in WCAC play since 2019 and hasn't lost to a non-BI team since long before that.

ISL is always more fun. Potomac loses a lot but still will be strong and returns a solid 2027 class. SSSAS with above mentioned best 2026 class. Visi with the best player in 2026 class (Can easily argue should be #1 overall). SR is SR in that they lose many key 25s but have the better feeder team with some really strong 29s that stayed. But goalie is an interesting question for SR next year.

BI would be fighting relegation in the ISL, it’s going to be a long season for them next year

Denver commit is my favorite player in the area and will carry GC. She is fierce and they will play like it.

Potomac will overachieve and Saints will underachieve.

SJC is one year away from beating MH.

Holton will upset one of the big 4 but lose to someone who they should beat.

SR will play without a major big dawg (UNC, UVA before that) for the first time in years. Lunatic coach will implode during the season and give DCUM massive fodder.

Saints on paper will have the best team, but their '26 class seriously underperformed in playoff season this year. Saw some attitude issues on the field which will need to be addressed for them to win.

It’s a culture problem.

Maybe those SSSAS dads should worry less about mid-season polls and other programs and worry more about the elephant in the room - attitude/culture, which typically starts somewhere else other than the field.
