You realize most of the South is concerned WASPS and many of them are very poor. WASP stands for white, Anglo Saxon, Protestant which is most of West Virginia and Appalachia. It does not necessarily mean wealthy or educated. |
Above poster is thinking of wealthy WASPS but statistically most wasps are not wealthy or educated as the South is mostly WASPS. |
No, of course it doesn't. |
Yep. And the term has roots in the Ku Klux Klan. https://wordhistories.net/2018/02/02/wasp-american-sociology/ |
And your internet speak belongs to 2007. Please try to keep up. Oof. |
Sorry, who are these women? |
1. Executive director of the Commission on Presidential Debates 2. Curator of American Decorative Arts at the Metropolitan Museum |
Google Sofia Coppola. Her black slacks with a sweater or blouse are spot on wasp. So is her short hair. |
+1 Dull and/or ugly. The duck boots get a pass because they’re useful. |
Wtf? Blythe is jewish and so is Gwyneth. There is nothing WASPY about them especially the way they talk. Jewish Americans people have a VERY distinct dialect.. |
