Georgia Senate Runoff - official

It may not sound great, but this message works for Perdue. Ossoff & Democrats are putting a lot of their chips on making the case that Perdue is ethically / legally beyond the pale and getting enough Republican-leaning voters to vote against Perdue based on that. This ad from Perdue counters that and reinforces that there may be a lot of smoke but not enough fire. Frankly going so strong on the Insider Trading almost concedes the idea that most Georgians are not really for Ossoff on policy but have to vote for him based on ethics. I don't think see it working - look at someone like Menendez in NJ who faced much stronger allegations and was actually censured by the Senate. Georgians know they will be casting a vote for someone to cast Senate votes on their behalf. You need to convince them on policy or come with substantiated allegations that are much stronger.

How do I volunteer from another state?

I don't live in GA, and don't think it would be a good idea for me to travel to the state during a pandemic.

Links?

I have already sent $$ to the two Democratic candidates, and will continue to do so for the next few weeks.

What else can I do from afar?

It’s just so perfect that there’s a cardboard cut out of a smiling Donald Trump, giving the thumb’s up signal, behind this guy as he solicits voter fraud. Perfect visual.

There are only two candidates in each run off (the top two vote getters in the original election), someone gets 50.0001 percent or more or there is a tie. There is no third run off.

I suppose I could see a universe in which some folks vote for only Warnock or only Purdue and it comes out thusly once non-votes and spoiled ballots (I wouldn't be surprised if triple digits of voters marked both candidates in one race, for example):

Warnock 50.3-Loeffler 48.5
Purdue 49.8-Ossoff 49.0

I'm assuming it's purely "whoever gets the most votes here, wins" but it is entirely possible for a candidate here to not get 50% of the total cast ballots.

I just looked at this, and they want me to sign up, I assume only to donate. Nothing on the site about texting or calling. I already gave them $$. I want to do something.

There are selection buttons to point out what you're interested in doing. This is the non-profit run by Stacey Abrams that brought out 800,000 new voters in the November election. They know what they're doing.

LOL. I'm the dumbass who asked what happens if neither gets 50% in the question at the top. Late night. Of course with two candidates someone has to get more than 50%, unless thay each get exactly 50%. Thank you for being kind. I'm praying the insider trading criminals do not win.

But wait. Some Republican was urging Georgians to write in Trump last week. It's conceivable that he gets 5% or more of the dumbass vote.

There’s no write-in field. If they write a random name, it will just be a spoiled ballot
