| According to GA state law, what happens if neither of the candidates gets more than 50% of the vote? Is the 50% rule still invoked in a run off election? Does anyone here know? |

There are only two candidates in each run off (the top two vote getters in the original election), someone gets 50.0001 percent or more or there is a tie. There is no third run off. |

Yes, signing a ballot removes anonymity. That is why mail in ballots use the outer security envelope and the outer envelope, all requiring signatures that must match the signatures on file.
And yes, each mail-in ballot is bar-coded to that specific voter, preventing double votes. |
