It may not sound great, but this message works for Perdue.  Ossoff & Democrats are putting a lot of their chips on making the case that Perdue is ethically / legally beyond the pale and getting enough Republican-leaning voters to vote against Perdue based on that.  This ad from Perdue counters that and reinforces that there may be a lot of smoke but not enough fire.  Frankly going so strong on the Insider Trading almost concedes the idea that most Georgians are not really for Ossoff on policy but have to vote for him based on ethics.  I don't think see it working - look at someone like Menendez in NJ who faced much stronger allegations and was actually censured by the Senate.  Georgians know they will be casting a vote for someone to cast Senate votes on their behalf.  You need to convince them on policy or come with substantiated allegations that are much stronger.[/quote]
