I don’t think he did it intentionally. He probably has executive functioning issues that impair his judgment.

Absolutely. Anyone over 50 needs to be kept locked up! They are a danger to everyone. Especially the colorblind!

Actually, my thinking is adult ADHD.

Add sensory processing issues that kept him from feeling the breeze from the open window.

Actually, His mind is putting together a new story so that he won’t feel terrible about killing his granddaughter

Ok, we’ll just go with grandpa’s explanation that he is colorblind.

If you have ever worked with a child or adult with severe executive function disorders, you wouldn’t laugh. They often will vehemently deny actions that they clearly did. To them witnesses are lying. Videotape is somehow wrong. They aren’t lying. To them, it didn’t happen. It is frustrating and sometimes truly frightening. My mother suffered horribly with my brother over this.

This guy works in IT. His executive functioning cannot be that bad if he can hold a job, get married...

I think the guy knows exactly what happened, is completely guilt ridden over it and is trying to get his family a consolation prize (a settlement) before he is convicted and ushered off to a jail cell where he fully intends to hang himself.

You must not read DCUM much if you think that.

I also think that a former prosecutor and a cop would know darned well if this guy had sever executive functioning issues, ADHD or any other problem. This is the man they entrusted their child with.

How about we go with neither? 21:18 is correct.

He and his wife look like a good match and similar in age.

This is only slightly less horrible than the lady who picked up her granddaughter and flung her over the railing on the walking bridge at Tyson's mall.

I think the grandmother, Patti Anello, is in her early 60's.

They look like most nondescript, overweight, middle aged white couple 40+
