Dems will hold to their initial proposals. They now have power and will wield it. There is zero incentive for them to give a penny more.

I hope the shutdown lasts until mid February so that McConnel’s Kentucky neighbors won’t get their tax refunds. He’s had a chance to pass spending bills and chooses not to.

I doubt people would quit that quickly. For one, they would need a new job first and second, no tax refunds will end this thing faster than almost anything else. People depend on those refunds.
