Breakfast: Homemade mango yogurt -- regular, not reduced fat. Coffee
Lunch: A steak salad Dinner will be grilled chicken and vegetables. I'm usually satisfied so I don't need to snack during the day. I think drinking a lot of water helps because sometimes your body confuses hunger for thirst. I'm thin and healthy. |

yogurt with strawberries and banana, coffee and juice
mid morning: oatmeal packet lunch: a bit of leftover sweet potato from last night, pumpernickle pretzels and a 1/2 piece of veggie pizza that my office brought in for lunch and i tried to avoid later: will likely eat salad and maybe some fish for dinner and try not to snack much more today. eat most of my food mid-day i could lose 10 lbs but generally fairly slim. |

Yesterday was really really bad - I ate almost no real food:
Breakfast - 2 small red velvet cupcakes Lunch - 2 bananas Snack - TJs palmiers and choc covered pb pretzels Dinner - spaghetti and meatballs (2 servings) Today will be better! |
|
Yesterday:
Hot chocolate (AM) brown rice and Asian chicken/veggie yells curry (dinner) brownie sundae for dessert
Midnight snack of baby carrots and cherry tomatoes |
| *yellow (not yells) |
|
Today, 2 hard-boiled eggs, coffee, no sugar.
For what it is worth, i gave up dairy, sugar, red meat and alcohol for Lent. I am NOT religious. Anyhow, I lost 10 pounds with possibly NOT a single day of exercise. I am in shape....5'9", now 172 lbs. |
| I had dinner at Carmines and it was freaking delicious. I'll make healthier choices for the rest of the week, but what's eating if not indulgent every now and then. |
| After reading this thread I see how many of you are overweight. |
| What's with all the hot chocolate for breakfast? I've never thought of doing that but a lot of people say that's their breakfast. |

So far today:
Breakfast: 1/4 of a soy latte (couldn't finish in time on my way to the gym then didn't bother to reheat) Lunch: quinoa salad with avocado, corn, black beans, and shrimp Dinner: (sigh) will probably be a frozen pizza, as I didn't have time to get to the store and we are out of everything. Now I'm realizing I didn't have veggies today.
I'm 5'9 and 132lb, but that is 7lb over my "happy weight", gained in the past 6 months after an injury. |

I know I've been overeating thus my weight gain.
I'm 5' 5" and weigh 128 --- I'm not that fat but suddenly have a buldge. I weigh more now than I ever have. My problem is snacking, while my meals are not huge, I snack a lot and I have also not done any exercise in a long while. I'm sure there are some nutritional professionals on here that could provide some tips. |

Breakfast: Black coffee - nothing in it (thats how I like it), a bowl of plain cheerios with skim milk and half a banana.
Lunch: Homemade fruit cup, Lean corned beef on Rye with mustard, and a few Kashi veggie crackers Dinner: Sauteed shrimp with linguinie and a little alfredo sauce and fresh Brocolini. Also had a few pieces of french bread with parm cheese melted into it. And a glass and a half of sauvignon blanc. Dessert: Small scoop of vanilla gelato. Normally I do not snack and eat three good size meals which seems to work for me. I am thin and exercise/ run 3 days a week. I am happy with my weight. But I also do not have kids and am younger so I think I am going to hit a wall once I start that journey! |
