Hobbies that are Dealbreakers?

I suspect you're just tossing that out here to be funny, but -- the hottest man I know is a serious Civil War reenactor. Not a deal breaker at all. Looks fantastic in uniform, and is pretty expert but never a bore about it. I only wish he did more reenactments because he's worth watching in them.

Does he dress up for the union or south?

Video games is my big one.

Motorcycle riding, shooting range/gun collecting, pornography, anything I associate with boys (action figures, video games).

Oh, and attending Trump rallies.

Hobbies that are pluses in my book: cooking, hiking, travel, board games, nature photography, woodworking.

I guess you like chafing then.

Oh yeah, bible study would be a no.

As would anything very reckless like mountain climbing (think Everest).

Any conversation whatsoever requires effort to get their attention, a long pause while they turn it off, then they go "whaaat?". It's tedious and it's a way that they avoid interacting.

You seem exceptionally dim.

Try riding the metro and see how many females have earbuds in the entire time. Or anywhere else in public for that matter.

Women wear earbuds on metro so you don't bother them!

Anything that requires cosplay (ie, wearing a costume).

Aren't you special. It is possible to live a normal life and really love the most popular sport in the US by a landslide. A shame you're limiting yourself so much.

Why do you care if someone doesn't like football? How does it personally affect you? Believe or not I am not limiting myself at all!

I'm guessing that person doesn't care if he larps for the enslavement side since being "hot" absolves him.

Only deal breaker hobbies I’ve been exposed to: bible study and horses. I want my partner focused on the here and now, on me and future children. If there’s an afterlife, you aren’t going to get there by studying. As for horses, they are crazy expensive time sinks.

Hobbies I like: board games, cooking, baking, hiking, wildlife viewing, pickleball, volleyball, softball, tennis, swimming, dance, scuba or snorkeling, snowboarding, fitness class of some kind (yoga, OTF, etc.), traveling affordably, board games, household DIY. Things that one can do solo or together.

"That person," me, dared mention attractiveness on a thread about dealbreakers in dating and you decided that was a...political issue, I guess?

DCUM never lets me down. Always reverting to the ugliest stereotype you can imagine, to show off your own imagined moral superiority! I absolve you of your insufferability. You're welcome.

I was going to answer the other PP's question about Which Side but now...nope. You'll just imagine whatever you want anyway.

Looks like you answered the question.
