Being born in Mexico doesn't make you ethnically Mexican or Spanish, if she was even born in Mexico, which we have no way of even verifying. Those old timer wealthy Lebanese in Mexico tended to marry their own, especially 60 or 70 years ago.

But that's really besides the point. Salma is very fair skinned and Salma was educated from at least the age of 12 to 18 in U.S. private schools. YOU ALL brought up Salma, saying she was the inspiration for Hilaria to bag Alec. I just think it's funny that you think Hilaria is such a fraudulent grifter but refuse to acknowledge Salma might have built a career off similar.

Her life doesn't seem enviable to me at all.
I can see the appeal of an aging movie star, even if he's old and bloated, but Alec has rage problems and had a drinking problem. That's a scary mix. They're also clearly not that rich anymore.
As for the kids, I don't think they're any cuter than anyone else's kids.
Hilaria's life seems really hectic, not to mention that she's clearly not a very happy or healthy person to have come up with a whole new identity.

I grew up in a family of six and I’d never replicate that. Just that alone makes me not envy them. I think he’s actually pretty dumb and uninteresting but had good PR over the years, turning up every so often with a flattening profile in The New Yorker or New York talking about his political ambitions, which was just blather, or releasing one of his ghost-written books. It is all illusion. And he’s pretty gross looking now with rage issues that I suspect have not disappeared. She’s just flat out bizarre.

I doubt that’s even true. Mitt Romney has some Mormon family born in Mexico. They’re not ethnically Mexican.
