Well if Nina saw Bob seducing away his sister from her family, especially plying her with drugs, I could see why he might act rashly.

To be honest, I was happier when he was possibly gay and coming out of the closet. Instead making it all about a midlife crisis, where he divorced his wife, abandon his family for Miami, and now having affairs with married women? It just seems like he had like a brain tumor!
