I agree most professionals in DC abstain from weed, because there is still a Federal law against it, so using has a high impact to careers.

Also, it smells awful, gives you cancer like cigarettes, and literally makes you dumber faster and more permanently than alcohol. In a city of wonks, recreational stupidity is not popular.

Uh...they are doing edibles not smoking. I live in a wealthy area in the DMV and tons of lawyers, C Level/Partners in acct/consulting firms, etc do gummies regularly.

These are different circles. The switchblade guy, his sister and her husband are wealthy, educated second gen Iranians from wealthy, educated families. Only the switchblade guy was part of Bob’s circle if at all.

The friend said he arrived to the apartment at 3:30 p.m. on April 3 and that the group later migrated to Lee's room at the 1 Hotel on 8 Mission Street.

There, the friend noticed Lee and Momeni having a conversation in which Lee tried to reassure Momeni that his sister was not doing drugs and that "nothing inappropriate had happened."
