Masha Yovanovitch was forced out because she was representing the interests of the United States. The corrupt Ukrainians and the corrupt Americans could not have that. |
So from the articles linked above, it seems that Bob Livingston trashed the U.S. Ambassador while he knew he was being paid by a front company and had no idea who was actually paying him $50K per month. |
Thank you for translating that. |
But wait. We have laws where lobbyists have to register their clients. And he MADE LAWS for much of his career. How is this possible? Did he crime? |
Officially, his client was Innovative Technology and Business Consulting, with an address in Pikesville, MD, but no physical or online business presence, which is very strange for a technology and business consulting company. Livingston knew that was not the real source of the lobbying funds but he took the money and did what he was asked to do. Among other activities, Livingston contacted U.S. officials, including Ambassador Volker, to meet with Yulia Tymoshenko while she was candidate for President of Ukraine. Livingston apparently was also a client for other companies in Ukraine and the region. |
Livingston - referenced in Rudy's butt call - is being paid by a Ukrainian Oligarch. |
Politico:
Vindman was instructed not to debrief Trump on Zelensky's inauguration b/c Trump’s advisers were worried it might confuse him—Nunes ally Kash Patel had "misrepresented" himself as NSC's Ukraine expert, despite no relevant experience, Vindman testified I mean, seriously, is this yet another case where Nunes is going to have to recuse? And what kind of nonsense is this that Trump is confused about who the true Ukraine expert in the White House is. This is madness. Thanks, GOP. |
Vindman told House investigators that a WH meeting AND nearly $400 million in security and military aid was “contingent” on Ukrainian officials carrying out multiple investigations, including into Burisma, the Bidens, the 2016 election and Crowd Strike. |
damning |
There are plenty of CAREER GOVT EMPLOYEES trying to keep the government functional despite this administration's actions. FIFY |
Some big names now on the deposition list -
John Eisenberg and Michael Ellis - Nov. 4 John Bolton - Nov. 7 |
+1 Despite one helluva treasonous headwind, they persevere. |
I didn't see the Trump supporters complaining about the so-called Obama "holdovers," who were also heldover by Bush, Clinton, Bush and Reagan.
Do people really not understand how government works at the civil service level? Particularly people who live in the DC area? |
Will these be done in public under the new rules outlined by Pelosi? |
It looks like these are depositions, not hearings, consistent with what’s been done so far. They want all the principals on the record so no one is aligning their stories with each other. Public hearings later. Depositions are never public. |
