I am convinced that at this point the facts no longer matter. Everyone has made up their minds. If, like me, you see strong evidence of a mob-style, illegal shakedown suborning US interests to Trump’s personal and political fortunes, all these extra pieces of evidence just uphold what you already believe. If you believe that the democrats are out to get the president and everything is manufactured, no amount of evidence is going to sway you. So while I agree with democrats that they need to go through the motions to show that everyone should be held accountable, the outcome is not in doubt. Trump will remain president because his base will continue to love him and the Senate will vote to try to save their political future by buying favor with the base. It’s sad, but a done deal.

I largely agree, but...

McConnell cares more about Senate majority than he cares about Trump in the WH.

It takes only a simple majority of the Senate to agree to have a secret vote.

It's probably like 1% at this point, but there is a chance he could be removed.

Morrison says Bolton had a one-on-one meeting with Trump about releasing Ukraine security assistance. Bolton told Morrison after that Trump "wasn't ready to do it."

PP meant Jordan was screaming bc it hadn’t been released yet. Which is odd bc the transcript doesn’t support the GOP defenses.
