I was just getting frustrated recently about Democrats (started a thread about it and some people thought I am trump supporter feigning frustration). But so happy that finally, the day has arrived. I hope there is televised inquiry with staff counsel questioning each trump minion.

Staff counsel? If history is a predictor, Congress will hire some heavy hitter litigator. Remember Arthur Liman?

I did not live then, but sure need to check up

Yes, he is. The Republicans are going to be like a dog with a bone (or a Benghazi) with the Biden non-scandal. At least Chuck Todd stood up pretty effectively to Kennedy.

Congress already has heavy hitter litigators. Barry Berke did a great job disemboweling Lewandowski just the other day. They also have Daniel Goldman, the former deputy chief of organized crime at SDNY, and Daniel Noble, a former co-chief of complex frauds/cybercrimeat SDNY.

100% he gets impeached 1% he gets removed from office 99% he wins in 2020.

This isn’t just another spat. Trump compromised our security for his gain.

If you’re wondering why it matters that President Trump withheld military aid to Ukraine while he was requesting political favors from its new president, think about the Ukrainian soldiers who are fighting a nasty proxy war against Russian-backed separatists.

The United States is Ukraine’s ally in this fight. Ukrainian commanders, battling to hold their country together against a five-year onslaught by Russia, have been depending on U.S. promises of military assistance. In life-or-death situations like this, America’s word is its bond. But suddenly, in mid-July, American commitments seemed to Ukrainians to have become Trump’s political tool.

Interesting take - yup, Trump not just broke law, he jeopardized our national security interest!

Your definition of great differs from that of Webster

Some of the Intelligence Committee has been leaked to and it's more than a phone conversation. The phone conversation story is a red herring. Stay tuned.

Can someone do a Cliff’s notes of what is going on? I feel very confused. And I usually totally get this stuff.
