This is my surprised face.

AP Exclusive: “Despite his denials, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy was feeling pressure from the Trump Administration to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden before his July phone call with President Donald Trump that has led to impeachment hearings.

In early May, staff at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, including then-Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch, were briefed on a meeting Zelenskiy held in which he sought advice on how to navigate the difficult position he was in, according to two people with knowledge of the briefings.

He was concerned that Trump and associates were pressing him to take action that could affect the 2020 U.S. presidential race, the people said. They spoke only on condition of anonymity because of the diplomatic and political sensitivity of the issue.”

Whether or not he felt pressured is only important in whether it was bribery or extortion. Bribes are often agreeable to both sides, so if Zelenky did not mind manufacturing investigations in exchange for a White House meeting and release of the security assistance, it was still a bribe but maybe not extortion. If he did not want to do it, and was coerced to do it, then it is extortion. Either way it was still a crime for Trump, Giuliani, Sondland, Perry, Volker, Mulvaney, et al to demand political favors from a foreign government as a condition for U.S. government assistance.

Hannity on Marie Yovanovitch, then and now
Before Sean Hannity pleaded ignorance about the resignation of ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, his frequent guest attacked her for being insufficiently anti-Trump.

A public official soliciting a bribe is a crime, whether or not he receives the bribe. It is not an attempted crime, it is the crime. 18 U.S.C. §?201

Then, we must hold Joe Biden accountable.
