When your losing on immigration, according to RASMUSSEN

This Rassmussen poll should be the canary in the coal mine for this administration and the GOP.

This is Biden level unpopularity on immigration. Way to go Trump. You suck in every way now.

Nearly 50% of Republicans being "yes" or "undecided" rather than a definitive "no" .... That is pretty sifnificant

Trump 47 is holding around -18%, avoiding Trump 45's January improvement. We'll see he also avoids Biden 46's February improvement.

Wait till they realize that zero net new jobs have been added since July. ZERO. The unemployment rate hasn't tanked because of statistical tricks.

The thing that's nuts here is that just like COVID Trump had a winning issue that he just demolished like a bull in a china shop.

I've always found Trump's immigration stance to be problematic, and honestly false in some respects, but there's no debate that people bought what he was selling - Democratic weakness on the issue and a promised solution.

Like, if he had just secured the border and highlighted how they had stopped or greatly reduced illegal crossings he would have gotten approval from the majority of the country. And if he had ramped up ICE to conduct more targeted, professional deportations of actual criminals, then again, I think he would have received a ton of support for that.

I think at the end of the day he doesn't actually want broad support for reasonable positions, however. So here we are.

It’s almost like he pretends to be normal and lies about having popular positions when he’s actually a sociopath.

Let's not forget that the power behind the throne is an actual psychopath, for whom this is not nearly enough.
