Is all of this going to translate into anything tangible at the ballot box? Democrats have a special knack for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Not if Republicans control the vote counting computers.

We witnessed the GOP losing Congressional seats in 2018 due to Trump’s unpopularity and then a relatively weak opponent beat the very unpopular Trump in the 2020 election. A similarly unpopular Biden caused the Dems to lose the 2024 election to a relatively weak opponent.

The numbers don't lie. History repeats itself; especially in politics. A job approval rating consistently at 40% or below for an extended period of times means the POTUS has lost the crucial swing vote.

My thoughts exactly. If anyone knows how to F things up, it's Democrats.

But, tbh, the fact that his approval among anyone is above 0% is staggering. It shows how completely F'd in the head Republicans are. Cruel. Ignorant. Hypocrisy.

Congress should impeach the entire administration. They are all corrupt and traitors.

We'll see.

I'm relatively liberal and I think Democrats need to get back to basics and also PUNCH BACK.

Ditch Schumer and work with Mayor Pete and a comms team to develop simple, straightforward messaging on issues that people care about. I'd capitalize on Trump's insanity and message that he's going to send your kids to war. I'd message that he'll have to reinstate the draft to support all his warmongering.

On immigration I would hammer 24/7 that Dems wanted to pass a law to tackle immigration but Trump tanked it so he could drag old people out in the cold and arrest kindergartners.

Ditto for energy prices, affordability and health care.

That's 5 things people care about. Get on it.

I hope the majority of folks in the gray area are "unsure" versus "never heard of". 12% of the country hasn't heard of the VP? 1 in 5 people doesn't know who the SECDEF is?
