When you realize that most people in America, Dems and Republicans, hate DC and politicians in general these polls make sense. They don’t care that Feds are suffering…most Americans think Feds are lazy and entitled anyway.

You do understand that his approval ratings are the lowest of any President in history at this time, right? |
Forbes is definitely not this President's fan. Add some %. |
What have we seen from them or our elected officials to suggest otherwise? |
This poll has him above his popular vote totals. Trump has always been a divisive figure, but these polls show all his recent moves are not alienate the people who voted for him, which was the majority of the country. In fact, he’s picked up a percentage or two. |
Most people disapprove of him.

This shows a +4.8% net favorable rating. A lot of people just didn’t care either way, which is why it’s roughly 48-43 in his favor and doesn’t add up to 100%. In either case, from the posts on here you would think his actions since taking office would have tanked his approval ratings. They’re not tanking at all relative to where he was on Inauguration Day. |
Give it a few more weeks or months... |
The posts on here are by over-educated people tuned in to policy. Give it some time. People will see the impacts of his work soon. |
But it was +8 just a few weeks ago. And the longer he goes doing stupid things while NOT dealing with the things that directly affect our lives, like egg and grocery prices, housing prices and so on, the more it will continue to drop. |
They aren’t tanking but they seem to be trending down. Also why are there three republican financed polls included in the average and no democratic ones? |
Many people will opine on something they know nothing about when polled. |
His poor approval polls, combined with the sharp decline in consumer confidence, tell the story of his poor start. |
