Unless they do, which seems so ridiculous to you. Single dads exist. Friends exists. Brothers exist. If the women’s room is out I certainly hope to raise boys who would grab a pad for a friend. And yes if a few trans boys are spared an additional indignity I think it’s worth the money. A school doesn’t have to put them in the boys room, they just have to make them available, I think having them in bathrooms is civilized but, again, show me the victims if you don’t. |
I’m not angry - I’m genuinely puzzled about why this matters so much. And click back through this thread, it’s been stick on this issue for pages now. |
Well I’m a female raising a female. So no, you don’t get it. |
Did it ever occur to you there may be more than one poster with an opinion 🤔 |
Transphobia is a major part of their platform, sadly. So hateful to target vulnerable populations the way they do. |
Nope, his wife was a speech coach for some children in Butte, Nebraska. I don't know what other children Walz's wife worked with, but my friend lived in Butte with a population of 402 at the time. Looks like that's actually dropped.

Sure! Can you (all 2, 3 of you) explain what the big deal is? |
Because the right if fixated on how "wrong" it is despite many explaining different reasons as to why it is a reasonable action to take. The right appear to be major snowflakes not to be able to stand in someone else's shoes on this issue. |
I am one of the posters and for me, one part is that it’s straight up wasting money all in the name of virtue signaling. We really need to stock all MN boys school bathrooms with period products to make the 10 trans boys in that state comfortable? Really? |
Yes and fear mongering about this issue is the only way they know how to get votes. Heaven forbid they actually govern for the greater good. |
+1 we are looking for an explanation as to whom this hurts. Be specific. |
It seems that the worst MAGA can do to Walz is “Walz didn’t actively work to make life worse for trans children in MN, while simultaneously helping low income women and girls achieve an education” I mean gosh the attack ads write themselves /s |
Its even more funny because access to menstrual products DOES help low income women and girls achieve an education 😂 |
That’s what I mean— the worst attack ad they can do is “Governor helps educate students while not being awful to other students” News at 11! |
+1 This is the point I was making about it being an issue of cost and the reality that boys will mess with the products. I think all schools should have at least a couple unisex bathrooms and it would be more appropriate to have the products available in those. |
