Aren't there more pressing issues to deal with? He advocated for period products in every bathroom because of transgenderism. THAT'S what repubs are upset about. Just call it what it is, cowards.
And be crystal clear that you have no compassion for trans kids, who have a far higher suicide rate than average and require support and kindness, not derision. As importantly, how about you just MIND YOUR DAMN BUSINESS.
There are a lot of things to like about Tim Walz but his kindness and empathy are at the top for me. As an educator, he knows the obstacles a hungry belly and issues of social difference pose to learning and achievement. He will do whatever he can to address children’s needs and help them. Sorry the right hates the existence of trans kids but he understands trans boys need period products and supplying them hurts exactly no one. He is a good man. Wish some on the right would listen and learn from him.
Yeah, erring on the side of tolerance and kindness is so hard for these people.
I'm so tired of these stupid comments from people on the left. No one hates trans kids! We just want them to receive proper mental health care and to follow what the actual research says and doesn't say and listen to the experts not captured by an ideology. Most people have never taken the time to really look into everything because they blindly believe what activists and the media tell them.
This impacts so few people that the right is disproportionately focused on it. So weird.
Transphobia is a major part of their platform, sadly. So hateful to target vulnerable populations the way they do.
Could you please stop calling everyone who doesn’t agree that period products belong in boys bathrooms transphobic? You’re just calling names when you don’t get 100% agreement from people and it just makes you look petty.
The other explanations have been cost and boys messing with the products. If it isn’t trans folks, are these the explanations you’re sticking with?
+1 we are looking for an explanation as to whom this hurts. Be specific.
It seems that the worst MAGA can do to Walz is “Walz didn’t actively work to make life worse for trans children in MN, while simultaneously helping low income women and girls achieve an education” I mean gosh the attack ads write themselves /s
Its even more funny because access to menstrual products DOES help low income women and girls achieve an education 😂
That’s what I mean— the worst attack ad they can do is “Governor helps educate students while not being awful to other students” News at 11!
