Imagine thinking that mocking a governor who is providing feminine hygiene products for (low income) students so they don't have the extra burden of blood-stained clothing, is some sort of "own"? Who in the hell could support such an insidious, selfish, hateful political party as the GOP? And I don't even care if you hate the Dems, but the GOP is just scummy.
I think it’s that he’s putting menstrual products in the boys’ room that’s an issue, not free menstrual products. Doesn’t anyone have common sense now?
Exactly.
Because if someone identifies as a boy and is biologically female, they may need menstrual products. This happens. It’s ok. Or if a boy has a friend, girlfriend, or sister who may need menstrual products, they can get them. Normalize menstruation. Again, it’s ok. What’s not ok is the GOP’s obsession with everyone’s genitals and bodily functions. Ick.
This is such an immense and hilarious reach I’m afraid you’re gonna hurt yourself.
No, it really isn't. It is a normal human process that can be embarrassing and really, why do you want human blood puddling around on a school chair or hallway?
Of course it’s a normal human process. Putting sanitary products in the girls bathrooms makes sense. I fully support that. But putting them in the boys bathroom is ridiculous. No one needs their boyfriend or brother to run in and get them products. Thats the reach. If you really think I want human blood puddling around on a school chair or hallway, then there’s clearly no rational conversation to be had here.
Unless they do, which seems so ridiculous to you. Single dads exist. Friends exists. Brothers exist. If the women’s room is out I certainly hope to raise boys who would grab a pad for a friend. And yes if a few trans boys are spared an additional indignity I think it’s worth the money. A school doesn’t have to put them in the boys room, they just have to make them available, I think having them in bathrooms is civilized but, again, show me the victims if you don’t.
