Earlier Tuesday, CNBC reported that Harris canceled a fundraising event in New York amid a flood of recent reports describing her campaign as chaotic.

Some of her top bundlers expected her fourth quarter totals to be a “disaster” and noticed that the “events were not going well,” according to a member of her finance committee, who spoke to CNBC on Tuesday on the condition of anonymity.

CNBC reported in October that donors were struggling to persuade their networks to write checks to her campaign. In some cases, many of her supporters have told the campaign that they will not host events for her.

Her campaign was described as chaotic and her supporters bailed early. Now her WH office is being described as a sh-tshow. Her popularity poll show she’s at 46% in the favorable or somewhat favorable categories.

I don’t know how the Russian troll thing still works, with the above info. Denial, I guess.

This is how she loses - misidentifying the problem as Russian trolls. She has real organizational issues. She needs to pull it together because other Dems NOT trolls are angling to get her.

Yup. She was always a checkbox choice, not the next-level politician we need.

And to the haters: her world and mine intersected decades ago. While there might have been potential, the unfortunate reality is that most of her shtick is based on appearances and it’s not enough.

PP, care to share more? I also know people connected with her and the recent news stories bolster their personal accounts to me.

She’s very good looking and the child of two very smart people who were quite brave. Unfortunately, she’s been more of a short-cut taker than someone with notable bravery. We desperately need someone with great bravery.

She has a vagina and dark skin, those were her only qualifications. She decimated the lives of countless black people in California and is a terror to work for...is this who you want leading the the US?

Pretty sure she's the eager figurehead of the people actually leading the U.S. Her providing diversity cred distracts from the fact that those people are smaller than any commonly discussed identity group (even smaller than say, 'black trans lives') and hence shouldn't get away with so much in something than even vaguely purports to be a majoritarian democracy.

Yep. Well said. She’s a front man who checked the right boxes.

She identifies as a woman.

A birthing person? Maybe?

She’s pretty and dressed well. Thus endeth Harris’ qualifications.

Never mind her first rate mind and experience. She’s got this, haters.

You forgot the “/s” at the end.

Probably.

But who?

There's clearly a serious problem with short-sightedness amongst the failed and painfully geriatric Democratic leadership. That there isn't a deep bench of talent is largely on those failed 'leaders'.

Anybody with the little symbol in their name in the US is suspect. Flournoy has 2. It’s like bumper stickers. One is cute or your belief, 2 is odd the last step before batshit

It’s on purpose. The people in charge of the Democratic Party don’t care about having a deep bench. Actually it might be a bad thing because if they had lots more successful, charismatic politicians who won elections, then they would be expected to deliver on their campaign promises, which of course they don’t want to do. It would be contrary to their interests as the ruling elite and the interests of their donors. That’s why the party is fine with all the 85 year olds clinging to their offices until they’re six feet under.

She really is not very smart. She thinks she is saying something factual. She's not. I'm not sure she has ever even been to a "rural" community. I live in one.
We don't have a Kinko's nearby, but we do have printer scanners in our homes. And, an Office Depot not too far away.
And, our local post office - a couple miles away - has a copier.
And, I am quite certain that the majority of "rural communities" is more like mine than what she describes.

She really is clueless.

Yes, but these types of people think they know, despite not knowing. They are very sure they know what these places are like.

You know how out of touch she is?

Kinkos does not exist anymore. Someone needs to tell her.

And to think…..she’s one heartbeat away from being US President. Fun, fun!
