We don't have a Kinko's nearby, but we do have printer scanners in our homes. And, an Office Depot not too far away.
And, our local post office - a couple miles away - has a copier.
And, I am quite certain that the majority of "rural communities" is more like mine than what she describes.

She really is clueless.

Yes, but these types of people think they know, despite not knowing. They are very sure they know what these places are like.

You know how out of touch she is?

Kinkos does not exist anymore. Someone needs to tell her.

And to think…..she’s one heartbeat away from being US President. Fun, fun!

So Kamala forgot that FedEx rebranded their retail division from FedEx Kinkos to FedEx Office in 2008?

Yup, typical overreaction.

LOL. Y'all must have a little comprehension issue.

Not only is she seemingly unaware of current events, she seems to think that "rural" people are these backward rubes who are unable to get a document photocopied in order to get photo ID.
Forget that many of us have cars and can drive.
Forget that many of us have scanners in our homes.
Forget that rural voters overwhelmingly approve of voter ID.

Rural voters are not helpless. We are very resourceful.

I’m from the rural Midwest, and “country folk can’t vote cuz they don’t have a copier franchise nearby” is definitely my favorite dem talking point to date.

BREATHTAKINGLY bad. Does she…does she think photocopying s*** is 21st century technology? Oh how have we peons survived the last half a century without the Capital City coming to save us?!

My elderly parents, who live in rural America, call me a lot about how to create a JPG and PDF from their Epson printer.

Is she aware that all-in-one printers have been a "thing" for some time now? Some are less than $70, heck maybe even $60. Sure, they'll git ya on the inkjet, but I'll be darned if someone just couldn't make a black and white or even a color copy right there on that there machine.

Surely you know the difference between photocopying and toying around on a computer. One is only a few decades newer than the other.

Kamala thinks your grandparents can’t “xerox” (her words). Your grandparents must have been born in 1850 if that’s the case.

Rather than her cursing the darkness that these folks evidently live in would it not be better for her to light the proverbial candle and perhaps send in and pay college students over the summer to educate those in need on how to complete these tasks?

She has no clue how people in rural America live. She has made that abundantly clear.

You have a living grandparent that is 133 years old?

She also didn’t say all rural areas. She said some people, mostly that live in rural areas don’t have access. Maybe you do, but there are certainly some people living without electrified houses in the US. Pretty sure they might not have a printer either if their house isn’t electrified.
