Let's focus on the voting machines in the midterms. Elon and his cronies are working hard to fix the midterms in every state. Beware the voting machines. |
While I think that is true (people want normalcy) I also think we have real problems in our country (high and rising healthcare costs, AI without regulation, price setting in certain markets, waste and fraud and unnecessary wars in the DoW leading to a huge budget deficit, etc). So although “normalcy” may work for the next election cycle, to avoid another round of crazy we need someone who can not only steady the ship but drive it to a better place and that will take some bold, out of the box, action. I don’t know too much about Beshear but if he’s willing to take a non partisan approach to problem solving (like admitting Obamacare’s approach of expanding coverage has not let to lower prices or even average out of pocket costs) then I’m quite interested. & The whole pronoun thing is silly - all a candidate should say is “I believe in being kind to people. If someone wants me to call them “they” that’s an easy way to show kindness and does not take anything away from my ability to be there for you”. If pressed on bathrooms and sports: “it’s a local community decision. Big government should stay out.” |
No, not POTUS, but hopefully he will run in 2028 to replace Fetterman, and Pennsylvania will correct the error of their ways and make Lamb their junior senator. |
| Fetterman on top of the ticket is the winner. |
Yes, a win for the GOP for sure. |
Never happen. The Republican would lie and do just the opposite once elected. |
On the top of the Republican ticket. |
How do you figure? Dems are not voting for JD Vance and Fetterman could compete in the Midwest and get voters who are culturally Dems but are revolted by the gender and racial politics of DSA Dems. |
|
Beshear is the one to watch. He’s a democrat who wins in Kentucky for goodness sake. And he’s a very popular governor too. He would easily win the battleground states and a whole lot more. Every southern and midwestern state comes into play with Beshear as the nominee.
However, he’s never been under the national spotlight. And some whither under all the attention - like Whitmer. Does he have what it takes? Who knows. But the first challenge is winning primaries. And progressives and blacks have a lot of sway there. 85 year old James Clyburn is basically a king maker on Super Tuesday. Are they going to go with a popular white male governor from Kentucky? It seems unlikely. Progressives and the black elite will probably want Harris and think the presidency is owed to her. And they’ll destroy competitors on Super Tuesday. That’s how we get President Tucker Carlson. |
|
The Dems are going to have to contend with either Vance or Rubio with perhaps a woman like Ana Paulina Luna or Tulsi Gabbard as VP.
Do not underestimate a Vance / Luna ticket. Southern states like GA and VA that Trump had trouble with it lost will be locks against most Dem candidates, Vance will be strong in the Rust Belt, and Luna will help with Hispanics in Nevada and Arizona. |
Andy Beshear has no star power and couldn’t win a debate vs Vance. Vance had a movie made by Ron Howard before he went into politics, that’s how inspiring his narrative is, objectively. You need someone with comparable star power and debating skills. The only person the Dems have will charisma and debating skills is Newsom. |
I like Newsom’s fight, but he far from the only one capable. He’s far too Republican, anyway. |
Well if he picks up Tulsi he can lock down both the Russian vote while Vance can get all the votes the oligarchs can cheat the country out of. |
He won't win anything in the future but certainly his only chance is to run as a Republican. |
I don't think Vance will be strong anywhere. Nobody likes him. |
