ICE is merely enforcing laws passed by Congress and signed by our elected presidents

Footage of a US citizen in Chicago being rammed then dragged from her car on her way to work.

Abducted, with no warrant, her family couldn’t find her for hours.

She was later released with NO CHARGE.

A DHS statement said she “violently resisted arrest, injuring two officers”.

From the video, it looks like she deliberately rammed the ICE vehicle. Either that or she was not paying attention and going at a too high speed for what was happening.

The ICE vehicle made a U-turn right into her car. I don't know what you are watching or how you draw that conclusion, but the facts speak for themselves.

Just enforcing the law, right?

ICE detained a U.S. citizen for 7 hours in Portland after she photographed ICE agents.

As of Tuesday morning, ICE still had her phone and her engagement ring, she said.

The ridiculous wailing and crying here is absurd, considering the people at issue (illegal aliens) brought this all on themselves.

People illegally crossing our southern border and/or filing entirely frivolous asylum claims simply need to return home. If they would only do what they are supposed to do and follow basic U.S. and international law, this thread would not exist.

They just have to go back.

OMFG - the anti-ICE people are dumb AF!

Stupid premise OP. You can train people properly, given the official badges and uniforms (but not masks), set a good tone at the top, develop a list of priorities (like TRUMP said he would and start with criminals and not 20 years here, paid taxes, not even a traffic ticket) and demand that they behave professionally and that they treat EVERYONE they interact with basic human decency. And probably do a better job and get better results than the Trump method of hiring thugs, telling them to behave like thugs, having them dress like thugs, and signing off on unnecessary violence. While being lead by a Barbie doll filming herself collating thug life.

I’m a Fed who interacts with the public. 98% are very pleasant. 1% are amenities and difficult. A small number threaten me, and in a couple fun instances that had be talking to the Secret Service, POTUS. I am expected to show up on time, dressed neatly and appropriately, behave professionally, and never, ever be abusive to the public under any circumstances. ICE could try that. It worked under Obama, the “deporter in chief”.

There is a saying that the means don't justify the ends. ICE cannot lie or use excessive force. Why don't you care about ridiculously over the top, blatantly excessive force? Or lack of showing ID?

There is a separate thread on how criminals are pretending to be ICE to assault, rob, and rape. We made it easy for them as nobody can tell the difference between the feds and the criminals.

I guess you haven't been paying attention. There are scores of links in this thread of ICE detaining NATURAL BORN AMERICAN US CiTIZENS as well as legal green card holders etc, not "illegals"

People coming to the border and filing for asylum, is, international law and US law. Those people are not here illegally.

They hit her car. I am a woman and can't imagine being on your way to work, getting your car rammed, then surrounded by people with guns. Not to mention we now have criminals pretending to be ICE so they can try to assault people or rape women per the other thread. This is chaos, the ICE workers are not adequately trained, and innocent people are harmed by their incompetence. I thought MAGAs like law and order and people being competent at their jobs? I guess not.

There is a longer video. Before the U-turn, her car is not there.

ICE hit her, it is obvious from the longer video, they swerve into her and their hit is from slightly behind her off to the side as she is going straight and they veer into her.

PS, no normal person driving to work expects to have guns suddenly drawn on them after having their car hit. Though that is a way that criminals sometimes do carjackings. So in a city without anyone showing you a badge and a nondescript car, kinda a crapshoot whether this is ICE or some criminal in terms of what is happening. I would not process this well while staring down multiple gun barrels. This is why this entire situation demonstrates utter incompetence, poor policy, and poor training.

We recently learned that ICE gets 8 weeks of training.

Would not be surprised if soon we learn that some of them don’t have drivers licenses.

They drive cars without plates. A violation of local laws. Driving without a license is just an other local violation.

FBI Warns of Criminals Posing as ICE, Urges Agents to ID Themselves;

In a bulletin to law enforcement agencies, the FBI said criminal impersonators are exploiting ICE’s image and urged nationwide coordination to distinguish real operations from fakes.

This was not a highway. If this is correct, the driver was not paying attention and driving too fast. I think it is as likely the driver just ran right into them.
