Shameful for DC mayor. |
This exactly. People are fed up with cops getting told to stand down, and do nothing. |
Time to replace them all with federal soldiers. |
Who's telling them to stand down? Is this some old cherrypicked narrative from the BLM days that you're stuck on? |
+1. I am a longtime D.C. resident and I also call BS on this claim that crime is at a 30-year low. |
As always with Democrats, don’t believe your lying eyes. |

Stand down and underreport crimes. |
The pigs are lazy AF. You tell them not to beat on some innocent black guy going about his business and then they act like they can’t take a murder report. Most of what these cops were doing wasn’t helping anyone except the prison industrial complex. Real policing and building trust with a community is too hard a job for these guys. |
+1. March is Canada Goose down coat season in these parts. |
The union is telling them to stand down. |
And yet, in April of this year, the former US attorney for DC, Ed Martin, a Trump appointe said that crime statistics in DC were down by 25%. Don’t take my word for it. See the link to the DOJ zone website. What has changed since then? Why the sudden emergency? “The U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia is marking President Donald J. Trump's first 100 days by highlighting a 25 percent drop year-to-date in violent crime across the District, credited in part to the "Make D.C. Safe Again" initiative and the U.S. Attorney’s partnership with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and Metropolitan Police Department.” https://www.justice.gov/usao-dc/pr/us-attorney-ed-martin-jr-credits-president-trumps-first-100-days-25-drop-dc-violent |
Yes, I stopped moving over for cop cars with flashing lights. Too many. |
