The debate

Kavanaugh couldn’t fight back because of the nature of that forum. When she “won” the debate with Biden by calling him a racist Biden didn’t fight back either.

She doesn’t do well when people question her
, whether it’s Tulsi Gabbard or Lester Holt. Trump makes Tulsi and Holt look like child’s play. It’s going to be a rough night.

They don’t fight back because she’s right. Kavanaugh was a crying, lying fool on the stand. Biden let Harris finish her thoughts. He acknowledged and responded thoughtfully. Trump is definitely going to have a rough night.

Or a Bill Barr. Or a Jeff Sessions. Or a Steve Cooley.

Those people couldn’t fight back because they were testifying. Trump is going to make her cry.

Oh my, how you all spin. They had no grounds to “fight” back because it would require telling the truth, so they spun and spun. They are liars. Trump will be fact checked in real time by experts. Everyone thought Biden froze while Trump was spewing during the debate. He had to look forward at moderators so his right ear could pick up Trumps BS. When Trump was done, Biden said, you’re lying.

Unfortunately, the only person that has anything to lose this evening is Harris. She's no longer the shiny new thing that replaced the unfit geriatric and saved America. That cliffhanger episode was months ago now. The shine is off. She's going to be asked about the 10 million illegal migrants that have crossed the border and disappeared into America since she took office. She's going to be asked about inflation, which has left most Americans feeling poorer than they did four years ago. She's likely going to be asked uncomfortable questions about Joe Biden and his fitness for office.

It's a minefield for Harris. And even though she's been VP for nearly 4 years, most Americans don't have a real sense of her. I do pay attention to politics. But I had absolutely no idea that Kamala Harris spent her formative years in Montreal. Which I think is great, but the point is she is an enigma for most voters. One nervous word salad answer and she is in trouble.

Whereas we've all learned that Donald Trump could declare that he is Satan and Republicans will still vote for him. That's 45 percent right there. The Lord of Darkness is familiar to them and they are fine with that. Whereas some childless woman from California with an unusual racial background and who grew up in Montreal and Oakland and likes to laugh and is looking pretty good for 60 - that can be weird and strange for suburban Wilkes-Barre, PA and Kenosha, WI. The USA is a much bigger country than people realize. Your reality - whatever it is - is not typical. And there are just a few people that matter this election cycle, and you are unlikely to be one of them bc of the weirdness of the American system.

The only audience that matters this evening is your friend's fourth cousin in Grand Rapids, MI. That's who's deciding this thing.

If you think that Trump has any high ground on morals, you have lost your marbles.

This is a man that made his business on racist policies. In 1970's he was sued by the Dept of Justice for numerous violations of the Fair Housing Act. He refused to rent to black renters and lied about housing availability to black applicants.

This is a man that has cheated on three wives. He cheated on wife #1 and then married his AP for wife #2.

A man who sexually assaulted a woman, then tried to destroy her publicly when she finally talked about it. He has been found guilty of both the sexual assault and the defamation in a court of law.

This is a man who has lied over 30K times throughout his presidency.

This is a man who had his brother cut out of his father's fortune, then refused to help pay for his nephew's medical treatments because his father didn't deserve anything from the family.

This is a man who has hinted to racists and antisemites that they are good people.
This is a man who has hinted to militant extremists that it is okay to open carry and threaten people with weapons to get their way.

This is a man who has created a golden idol of himself and asked people to worship it.

This is a man who uses a Bible as a prop. Who claims to be a Christian, but has virtually never set foot in a church and then misquotes the Bible and uses his misquotes to try and fool the public.

This is a man who has cheated in business his entire career and uses the judicial system as a shield to help him avoid consequences by cheating and using technicalities and delaying tactics. He has been found guilty by a jury of his peers of commiting business fraud.

This is a man who who belittle and make fun of those who are handicapped, those who have been damaged in war to protect this nation. He makes fun of minorities and anyone who's looks he doesn't care for.

And this is only a tiny fraction of the immoral and unethical behavior this man has exhibited over the last 50 years. He is one of the most immoral creatures on Earth. If you support this truly evil man, you have absolutely no ground to plead that you have the moral high ground.

She’s cannot commit to that at the debate. President Biden’s call.

She can commit to doing whatever she wants once she’s inaugurated. If she won’t commit to divestment and an end to aid to Israel, many of us will just stay home on Election Day.

This makes no sense. You want her to lie so you don’t stay home on Election Day. That’s what it’s come to. The acceptance of liars who will flip once elected. Harris will tell the truth. Stay home. She has continually stated that Israel has the right to defend itself. That the horrific atrocities against innocent Israelis on Oct 7 and innocent Palestinians must end. It must end by releasing the hostages and a ceasefire. That is what she has said over and over. That is what she said when Netanyahu showed up to tell Congress that this war is also a U.S. War. That Israel protects U.S. interests in the Middle East. That college protestors are “useful idiots.” He said many threatening things at that meeting. He plays presidents like a fiddle.

Read the full transcript of that meeting. Harris didn’t attend the meeting. Netanyahu said something snippy about it. Later, Harris nodded, shook Netanyahu’s hand, took to the podium and demanded a ceasefire. She will not commit to anything other than what she has said. Pick a side people will not bully anyone who demands that humanity be bestowed to the suffering on BOTH SIDES.

Short of being a Republican, what could she or any other Democratic woman candidate do to capture the male vote?

If they have wives and daughters they’ll likely vote accordingly. I do think the alarming number of male (and female) republican representatives endorsing her will capture enough male votes. Recently, Dick and Liz Cheney. W not endorsing Harris proves, yet again, that he’s the loser he always was. Tied with Trump as the dumbest President in history.

No. They won't.

This is what you simply do not understand. Not everyone lives and dies on the hill of abortion.

There is one poster here who sees the world only through her abortion colored glasses.

There’s multiple posters here discussing the Roe decision. And don’t forget to acknowledge that Ivanka Trump had an abortion using daddy’s money. Let’s hope for her sake it wasn’t his clump of cells.

There's no proof, but an allegation by a socialite who claims that Ivanka's high school friends have talked about taking Ivanka for an abortion in high school. The allegation was made and deleted in the same day.

We were both like um hell no... She got on the phone to a lot of her friends.......

Damn. This is the control and fear Trump and his cronies aspire for women. Not going back. And PP thanks for taking the time to educate your sister’s MIL.

Lots of men "help" their wives fill out ballot, either by mail, and even in the voting booths although that is illegal but lots of red areas allow it. That poor woman. Thank you for encouraging her.

SCOTUS gave him immunity for his criminal misdeeds. Time to put term limits on all the federal judges. Enough is enough.

Anonymous wrote:Tonight's debate will be as bad for Trump as the last one was for Biden. Trump's physical and cognitive decline has increased over the last several months. He does not have a public outing without some moment where his brain heads off into the orange bronzer sunset and ends up rambling or incoherent. When he's lucky, he only goes for a phrase or two and then finally reconnects. When he's not, it goes on for a long tangential rant about something that doesn't make sense (sharks and batteries, Hannibel Lechter).

And even through she's not a spring chicken, Harris will look and speak like a normal person.

Trump is going to look old and feebleminded. And any last swing voters will realize, like they did with Biden, that Trump is no longer fit for office.

But the media will bothsides this and minimize any negatives for Trump. You certainly won’t see the wall-to-wall attacks Biden received for his age the next day.

That’s the Dems fault. Biden’s handlers should have given him a shot of adrenaline like Trump’s handlers gave him for that debate. Trump will be on drugs tonight as well.
