Unfortunately one side did win in the last debate. That's why we are where we are with these two candidates.

The debate didn't do that. The New York Times and their fellow travelers did that when they decided to run 192 articles in 2 weeks on Biden's age and decided not to offer proportional coverage on Trump's age and mental acuity.
