Yea, that’s not how it works. That’s not how any of this works. If the prenup isn’t enforced/they don’t settle, the judge isn’t going to go - oh whoops, you’ve spent all your money on XYZ, guess there is nothing to give to the ex.

I did not say that's how it works, I was merely stating a fact he had leaked out there, of course the courts won't care about his financial choices. Any rate, this will hurt him in his kids eyes and career wise. I know (as a child who had a cheating father) that kids see everything and never forget. Sad situation at any rate. Never like to see things like this happen to children and I do not care how much money their families may possess.

A quick google search suggests that she's not going to find a decent 4-bedroom home in Carpinteria for less than $10,000 per month, and at that price, it is going to feel very different to the kids (and her) than dad's house. How do the kids not hate their dad for doing this to mom? I would - my parents are still married and my dad controls all the money and to this day I still fear for my mom. It's a bad way to treat someone. The cost of living in Carpinteria is very high. They had a traditional, old school marriage where she stayed home with the kids and he did whatever he wanted, but now that it's over, he's kicking her to the curve with relatively nothing (0.25% of assets).

The lawyer who allowed her to agree to this prenup, with no adjustments for length of marriage or number of kids, is to blame in large part.

I also agree that "a man is not a plan". I wouldn't want this for myself or my daughter.

You do realize that most people don’t pay 100% cash for a home? She can easily put down 20% and have a mortgage and go to work like the rest of us.

She can put a down payment and use her insanely high alimony.

Kevin has already offered to cover her home’s down payment and first 12 mortgage payments PLUS the million cash PLUS the child support PLUS all expenses for the teen kids.

He is worth 400 million. What you have noted is a drop in the bucket for him.

KC likely wants his heirs to get his money, not some gold digging layabout ex-wife to blow on shopping sprees, plastic surgery, and get taken to the cleaners by some young male grifter.

I’m not disagreeing with you. I was posting a follow up comment pointing out he’s dumb to think tying his money up would alleviate him of providing a larger settlement.

Not sure how old you are, but I'm mid-50s and remember his first divorce. He had a reputation of being a jerk then, too. When his work is good, though, it's excellent and successful, but someone should reel him in on his vanity projects.

This article says she’s going to get $123k a month, but is asking for $248k.

I am also on KCs side regarding the divorce / financial agreement.

Asking for almost 300k a month in child support is insane.

People had a meltdown when Kevin Federline asked for 25k a month. This is more than ten times that. It is nonsense.

It's nuts because it's more than most Californians make in a year. He could spite her and pick a random family to give that amount to each month. On the other hand I really wonder what he did to make the divorce this ugly. Jeff Bezos's divorce wasn't this nasty. She is hella mad and out for revenge that's for sure.
