W-L beat Herndon 9-8. On to face Langley!

Are you the one who called the W-L win earlier? Impressive. I’m assuming Yorktown destroyed Wakefield.

Looking forward to some of the matchups that we have not seen this season. Here are some potential games I am looking forward to watching over the next few weeks:

1. Robinson vs Patriot
2. Battlefield vs Robinson
3. Madison vs Langley
4. Patriot vs Madison
5. Battlefield vs Yorktown
6. Langley vs Lake Braddock
7. Yorktown vs Lake Braddock
8. Battlefield vs Madison
9. Robinson vs Langley
10. Lake Braddock vs Patriot

Did I miss any? Possibly, but any combination of these teams who have not yet played each other should be fun to watch. With the exception of Robinson vs whoever, since it is very possible that they beat any of these teams by 10+. But you never know. That's why they play the game! Good luck to all teams. Gotta love this time of year

I think Langley v. Patriot is the only one missing but it seems very unlikely that we see anyone come out of the C/D bracket other than Robinson, so Robinson is the only team likely to play Battlefield or Patriot. But as you say, that is why they play.

I was. I would take credit for solid analysis, but that pick was based solely on my kid telling me he thought they were better than Herndon. Honestly, the teams are very evenly matched. Sadly, that is not true for W-L with any of the remaining teams in the Liberty District playoffs...But it was nice to see them win last night, especially after going down 1-4 in the first half, and then almost losing a 8-5 lead with only a few minutes left. The game was pretty physical, but no one was going to confuse it with highly skilled lacrosse.

Wow. Kudos to WestPo. I also heard Maryland commit scored 13 of the goals? And he's a D, not an attack.

Does that mean LB is done? No regionals?

Everyone makes regionals.

Geez, what happened to LB?
